Fox guys were madddddd!...
They could only say, bush did well, held his own, and Kerry was sweating, not really able to focus on how to defend America.

Bunch of bastards...but they were pretty somber, not laughing or cheering for Mr. loser...their stupid little man bush.

1. I gotta ask...
Did anyone see any sweat seeping from Senator Kerry's pores? I didn't.

15. That was my take. Kerry stood like a proud soldier, tall & straight,
while junior fidgeted and nervously contorted his face with strange expressions. While Kerry looked amused with junior's struggle with the debate.

14. (A Fleeting Moment of Optimism)

Not at all, but Bush's odd body language and heavily parsed syntax were clear indicators of his discomfort. Undecideds surely saw Bush's performance represent a man who lacks dynamic opinion, and his behaviour suggests just what most democrats have been saying all along: Bush is narrow-minded and self-righteous. He looked like he was hiding the facts from Americans.

Kerry came off as presidential, eloquent, composed and fully in control, whereas Bush kept reciting the grandiose, jingoistic mantras of his prior speeches as though his teleprompter was on an infinite loop.

The republican spin-doctors are going to be working overtime trying to fix the tray-tables on this crashing plane.

4. Kerry, sweating? Jesus, were they rooting around his nuts or something?
Cuz he didn't have any VISIBLE sweat.

Georgie meanwhile looked like that dude in the first Faces of Death that was about to be electrocuted.

6. Remarkable
This petulant, puerile little man looked completely out of place. I knew that Senator Kerry was going to bury the President when, during their first handshake, he leaned full bore into Bush's space - showing how he towered over the little varmint. This set the tone of the debate and Bush was always on the ropes.

8. Bush did hold his own............
if you take into account that that performance was the best he could possibly do.

He would have won if he was debating a mannequin; unfortunately for him he was completely out gunned by a far superior man.

10. The only thing he held was a water glass about 50 times
Jesus, did he fire up a joint right before the debate?
