I've been thinking about PNAC and their goals from 2000 and history as we know it today.

With Afghanistan and Iraq already occupied, and it looks like Iran and Syria right aroudn the corner....it makes me wonder about 9/11.


if it weren't for 9/11 the neocons wouldn't have had a chance in hell for furthering the PNAC agenda.....but in a post 9/11 world, it's easy to blame everything on terrorism.


I hate to think it, and I really hate saying it, but is it possible 9/11 was a some sort of horrible setup to further the PNAC Amercian World Domination agenda?

Judging from the amount of internal criticism the administration has had to field since the "new Pearl Harbor" stage of PNAC, there would have to be another disaster, real or staged, in order for their plans to move forward.

While the plan has always been to install undemocratic regimes abroad to exploit for trade liberalization purposes, neo-cons realize that Americans would not take too kindly to the idea of suddenly waking up being forced to comply with the demands of a brutal dictatorship. At that point, every 2nd-amendmentite, militia-man and armchair war-hawk would wake up to the notion that Bush's White House is about as un-American as you can get.

See how far Americans were sunk into the chasm when they were told to hold the blame for 9/11? We were told that there was an outside threat that insisted upon destroying our freedoms. We were also told that, if we did not assist in destroying anything that the government perceived to be an outside threat, we were helping the terrorists destroy our freedoms. Such convolution of logic. We all know the story of what happened in America after September of 2001, but what happens if/when another attack occurs on our soil? It's not just going to be another round of flag stickers on SUVs.

Will a nationwide "Red Alert" be activated?

Will FEMA then declare a state of emergency and assume charge over the federal government indefinitely?

Will those who, in the panic, question the motives of our emerging police-state be detained? Will they be considered domestic terrorists?

Remember when Grover Norquist waxed aloud about wanting to shrink government to the size where it could be drowned in a bathtub? This is his opportunity.

It is not far-fetched to think that the major news outlets would take such an opportunity to equate liberals with terrorists. I've heard talk like that on particularly right-wing radio (even Adam Carolla of Loveline fame has recently made comments), so, considering the tremendous pull-to-the-right that America experienced after 9/11/01, I believe it's highly possible that this administration will not hesitate to use overt language to imply that liberals are the enemy.

As a matter of fact - you can call me a conspiracy theorist if you want - I think that's been the plan all along.

Realize that a post 9/11 world, albeit a traumatic one, is still not a full manifestation of the PNAC's wet dream. So, what's next?
