Hi guys! I try to avoid hitting you guys with heavy downer-news. I figure you can get that stuff elsewhere. After the terrorist events in Russia (the two flights AND the high school events) it was hard for me to keep from venting my rage. And with another hurricane bearing down on Florida, those poor Floridians are faced with more tragedy. But the damage Hurricane Jeanne has caused in Haiti is almost unimaginable. A thousand lives lost in the storm alone but now living conditions are going to cause more deaths. And soon. Like I said, Sluggy.com isn’t the site for this kind of info, so all I ask is you go do more research and use that to consider donating. I have this paranoia over charities, like none of my money is going to get to the people I want it to. Anyone know any reputable ones that accept PayPal? How about the international Red Cross? (Still irked at the shenanigans with the American Red Cross over 911).
