Could judy woodruff be any more biased?
She NEVER phrases a question in a way that is favorable to our side or even unbiased?

1. That RW whore is pathetically biased, and she just plains sucks as a
professional talking head. She constantly loses her train of thought and stumbles over her own words. And she seems really dim-witted and slow, like she's on medication or something.

2. Wasn't it Judy who was caught on TV on those poll numbers?
Claiming that Bush was ahead by double digits in poll after poll, then when she thought she was off camera she admitted that it was a tie in two other polls she had seen.

And please Judy, that flipped up hair on the bottom looks like about oh...1967-68.

7. Shhh....
Judy thinks she's being trendy. It's just that she's re-living the post college years when she was, you know, young.

5. O)nce Kerry wins, we should boycott network news....

I propose a six month boycott of the news and their sponsors once we take the WH. We can't afford to ignore it if we lose IMHO.

9. No matter what happens, win or lose,
I say we boycott just on principle. Let their numbers fall, let them suffer the economic fallout.

The troubling thing is, there aren't a lot of places to go to see truly unbiased reporting.

6. I don't get it either..She and her husband were cussed out y Bush
in the late 80's when Poppy was prez. I know I carry a grudge and if someone had talked to me and my husband and that would be in Woodruff's case Al Hunt. Screaming at me in a resutrant according to Fortunate son book and Kitty Kelly and other reports, I would hit him hard every chance I got. Beats the fleas off me. Including McCain..go figure? Mass hypnosis I guess.

8. Should have seen Candy Crowley and Paula Zahn...
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 08:53 AM by Flubadubya
whoring it up yesterday. As the election grows closer, their already thin veil of pretend equanimity just melts away. These two were going at it with a passion.

Paula Zahn did a piece on the "really mean-spirited ads" out in the campaigns right now. And, oh yes, she devoted at least 80% of the time showing "examples" from the democratic side. The only one she gave as example from the Rethug side was the swiftboat ads, of course, but spent very little time on them.

She then showed the "Quagmire" ad and called it "that hideous ad", and just went on and on about how awful it was and asked a "dem strategist" whom she had tried to neuter by asking him to please be unbiased in his responses, then proceeds to goad him into naming the "Quagmire" ad as THE #1 AD that should be banned above all others. He said the SBVT ads should be banned, but also dutifully agreed that the Quagmire ad should go too... and the only reason he did that was because she pushed him into a corner he couldn't get out of. ACK!! I just want to :puke:

CNN is just worse and worse every day. It really is sad to see because, as a "news junkie", there are just no real options anymore.

10. No
And of course why does it bother you? You could quit watching.

Watching cable Tv is like eating in a bad restaurant. Stay away! I don't need your stories of up chucking and diarrhea. Why do you pay for bad news?

12. I used to think it was just far lefties exaggerating
until I saw her grill McPeak and softball Warner the other day on inside politics. She has become quite the cnn whore...which is pathetic considering she is a known liberal...which means that CNN is asking their employees to present the news a certain way even if their reporting doesn't reflect what they believe to be the facts/true.

18. Complain to their sponsors and 'CC' CNN in the process
That's the best way to get heard. Don't know how much good it will do.

And I tell them it's not the bias that bothers me, it's that a bias makes them a poor source for news, which makes me go to other sources.

When their coverage is good and probes both sides, I'll watch.

CNN has the LOWEST ratings of any television news organization in America.
Dead last.
During the day their ratings of adults 18-54 is ZERO.
