My window of opportunity has opened
please help me make the most of it.

My brother, a republican, wrote me an e-mail and tried to bring me comfort to not worry about the draft. But as we all know, if * is elected, there will be a draft. I plan to word my response as follows:

I know that you were trying to comfort me regarding the draft, but I know you are aware that there is a bill is the house and one in the senate that addresses the draft. I also was sent a link regarding a memo by Rumsfield addressing the implementation of the draft.

I want to respond in such a way so that he thinks that I know what I'm talking about and that he'll listen to my points of view in the future. This is my chance and I want to use it to my fullest advantage. Please help me. I have been waiting years for this moment.

2. no
I don't buy that. We can send every kid between the ages of 18 and 26 to anywhere. It won't matter. We need people in charge who know what they are talking about, who are willing to give and take, who respect and understand others religous views and point of views.

What will more and more troops do? And I don't mean that mean or sarcastic, but more troops without mediation will just mean more killing.

5. And it is not just Iraq and Afghanistan
We barely had enough troops to send to Haiti after the coup and barely enough bodies in the National Guard to help out in Florida. And Iran and North Korea both know we cannot do a thing about nuclear activity because of overextended troops.

If our foreign policy does not back off from its aggressive stance, we need more troops.

6. there is evidence that this administration wants to invade Iran
talk about being stretched thin? Look at the neo-cons' plans - Iraq is just the beginning.

The aim is to re-draw the borders of the middle east. make no mistake.

8. I went to the PNAC website
and all the things I wanted to show him were gone. I am beginning to see the line of reasoning that you are suggesting. It took a bit because I was focusing in another direction. Thank you all.
