Why Kucinich Endorsed Edwards in Iowa???
why endorse a candidate (a weak democrat a la that creep Daschle) who supported the war? why not ask your voters to vote dean?

just think if dean won iowa.

gephardt played that video of bin laden with dean and it was despicable!

AAARRGRGHHH, I can't get over the fact that dean could have been this country's best president of all time.

dennis you are a sellout!!!!!!!!

2. Haven't we been here before?
Kucinich did not endorse Edwards--he arranged to do delegate swaps with him. Both were running behind at the time, and Dean was ahead. It's the people behind that have to swap support in order to meet threshold, not the frontrunners.

4. We played this out months ago.
You are new here, we have almost healed these primary scars. There is no reason now to open them up. Kerry is the candidate and we are supporting him. Read the rules please.

13. I wouldn't say "healed" --
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 11:56 PM by Eloriel
moved on to other things, but definitely not "healed."

And I also wouldn't say "supporting Kerry." Some of us will be voting for him, but with GREAT sorrow, sadness, reluctance, etc. (Edit: Even revulsion.)

But it is old news as discussions go. Even so, I too would like to know how Kucinich got snookered into that deal. I'd hate to think it was just because he was mad at Dean for not giving him what he considered due deference re his own Iraq War position, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me (well, that plus Edwards' smooth talkin').

8. yes
just think if Dean won Iowa.

While you're at it, think what if you could fly, what if you discovered gold in your back yard, what if monkeys fly out your butt?

Dean lost, and it wasn't even close. What if, what if, what if....

16. sure
they invaded india by the sword and forcibly converted people or killed them if they did not convert. their religion preaches that other religions are false (you cannot say this is not true). that said there are many muslims who are good(>90%) but there are many who are not moderate and feel that they are better than everyone else.

18. Yeah, and the Spaniards invaded the New World by the sword
and forcibly converted people or killed them if they did not convert.

Many Christians preach that other religions are false (you cannot say this is not true). That said there are many Christians who are good, but there are many who are not moderate and feel that they are better than everyone else.

Hope that helped.

12. Kucinich and Edwards are good men
Good friends, and honorable.

Kucinich showed what integrity is all about by showing up for the Springfield rally tonight, a class act through and through.
