chickenhawk central
I was looking over the list of RNC speakers and, apart from McCain, this has got to be one of the sorriest collection of chickenhawks you'll ever see. I think the only other speaker that served in the military was Racicot, who had a lottery number of 23, but avoided Vietnam by going into an ROTC program that let him finish law school before starting his service (after the Vietnam war had ended). My favorite chickenhawk (not counting Chimpy and Cheney) has to be Norm Coleman. He's deputy co-chair of the convention, yet during the Vietnam war he was a major antiwar activist. Shouldn't the Repukes be chanting "shame" every time Norm gets near them?

Arnold didn't. Julianni? Gad that's nearly a clean sweep so far for the major speakers. Stock up on chicken feed NY!

3. I would think that would disqualify him for that title
If he protested against the war he couldn't very well be called a chickenhawk, a chickenshit maybe. A Chickenhawk by definition is someone who was Gung Ho for the war but refused to serve themselves. It is apparent most Republicans are Chickenshits, what with their obsessive need to surround themselves with guns and their extreme fear of almost anything. How has America sunk so low? Bush* is Chickenshit in Chief what with his bomb proof stage in front of his loyal followers. He is scared of his shadow.
