Now Drudge is running two hits against Bush
Headliner:
BUSH PRAISES KERRY'S MILITARY SERVICE, BUT DOES NOT DENOUNCE VETERANS' ATTACK AD
Bush said on Thursday that he did not believe Sen. John Kerry lied about his war record, but he declined to condemn the television commercial paid for by a veterans' group alleging Kerry came by his war medals dishonestly.

Bush made the comments during a half-hour interview with the NEW YORK TIMES for Friday editions.

"I understand how Sen. Kerry feels -- I've been attacked by 527s too," Bush said.

"I think Sen. Kerry should be proud of his record," Bush said. "No, I don't think he lied."

But when pressed repeatedly if he would specifically denounce the advertisements, which Kerry has said were being run with the tacit approval of the Bush campaign, the president refused to condemn then. Instead, he said he would talk only of the "broader issue" of the political committees that take to the airwaves with attack ads.

1. Did Bush Go to Nam?
He's acting like he's an expert on the subject. Did any of his brothers go to Nam?

2. Paragraph from the FT piece on Wall Street's growing aversion to Bush:
One New York dinner in June 2003 raised more than $4m, partly thanks to the efforts of Stan O'Neal, chief executive of Merrill Lynch. Yet Mr O'Neal has done no fundraising for the campaign at all since then and friends say he is not supporting Mr Bush. “He is best described as independent,” said one. Another senior Wall Street figure, who has given money to the campaign, said he was among many Wall Street bosses who were impressed with Mr Bush's handling of the September 11 attacks. “But since then, I have lost faith over foreign policy and tax,” he said.

4. Does Bush have no idea how lame it is that he won't condemn the ads
even while he says Kerry didn't lie about his service? Why wouldn't someone condemn an ad whose content is false? Why wouldn't someone want a false ad stopped?

Mr. No Ambiguity is finding it hard to do the right thing--because the wrong thing helps him personally. What a dick.

5. prick prick prick
"I think Sen. Kerry should be proud of his record," Bush said.

Of course, Bush understands that Senator Kerry IS proud of his record. Doesn't he?

I suspect someone once said to Bush the child "you suck", Bush the child reported this to Bush the elder, and Bush the elder said "Oh, you should feel good about yourself. Why do you think you suck?"

Bush the child is just getting his revenge.
