Jack Germond on c-span Washington Journal.
Just a heads up.

Germond's current book is "Fat Man Fed Up: How American Politics Went Bad".

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1400061547/qid=1092398443/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/102-6390630-8272148?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Germond is one of the few original political reporters left, IMHO.

1. He says is you are depressed or suicidal do not read my book. I
understand what he is saying. And that is the saddest thing, isn't it? When you understand that things have gotten to the level.

6. I never knew who he was....
Edited on Fri Aug-13-04 07:43 AM by fudge stripe cookays
until SNL did their parody of the McLaughlin Group on Halloween, and Chris Farley played Germond. The actors were all perfect. I think Franken was in it too. I just don't remember who he played.

From not paying any attention to shows on PBS, I could tune in for real and laugh because I knew who everyone was from the skit. I was young and naive. What can I say.

I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.

"Jack Jack bo-bak fee fi fo-mack....Jack!"
"Issue Numbah 1!"
