Germond is one of the few original political reporters left, IMHO.

2. I am sorry nobody knows who this guy is. It has been pretty interesting

6. I never knew who he was....

until SNL did their parody of the McLaughlin Group on Halloween, and Chris Farley played Germond. The actors were all perfect. I think Franken was in it too. I just don't remember who he played.

From not paying any attention to shows on PBS, I could tune in for real and laugh because I knew who everyone was from the skit. I was young and naive. What can I say.

I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.

3. i've loved this guy for years -

just didn't know he lives here in WV! have to go look him up. he also reminds me SO much of my godfather it's not funny. he's brilliant.
