Most of our pundits and pundettes are simply famous for being
famous and not for being able to think and write or speak with some insight on current events. The newspapers or TV shows that they peddle their craft have a vested interest in their success. This perpetuates the incessant peddling of lies, trivia and insanity of people like Safire, Brooks, Krauthammer,Hammity, Limbaugh, Matthews,Scaraborough and what have you.Day after day we see the same expert taking heads spewing the same garbage over and over gain.Shouldn't there be a new malpractice law or self policing mechanism to banish some of these creeps forever?

1. Perfect antidote: Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Randi Rhodes, for starters.

Free speech amendment covers the others, despite their LIES! Nothing makes sense to me anymore, as far as the "liberal media" is concerned.

3. exactly, and when you see Paul Krugman facing off with
the fool O'Really, you wonder, what are they thinking? Where are Bill's credentials as an economist? What a joke it was to watch as if Bill could argue with a REAL economist.

4. O'Reilly must be the most obnoxious and revolting talking head-with-no-...
brain on tv and radio. He kept wagging that index finger at Krugman on wimpy Tim Russert's show. It makes me ill to watch him bludgeon others on the air, even if it's NOT HIS SHOW! Why did Russert allow that abominable behavior on his program?

5. I saw the show, I think
Russert was just as bewildered by O'Spinly's behaviour as the next guy.

I'm not sure what else he could have done, Mad Max Bill was on the edge but not quite over. I think Little Rus let him go on, secretly hoping he would explode.
