I heckled a Fox News propagandist at the STL Kerry Rally today
Carl Cameron was pacing about, talking on his cell, while I was yelling "Camero~nes", Shrub's nickname for him as seen on that damning
videotape that Move-On sent me (I think it was from the Outfoxed movie) where "Camero~nes" was kissing Chimp ass.

He gave me a dirty look and went pacing off in the opposite direction.

I also gave him a "fair and balanced my ass" but I don't think he heard me.

Great rally, by the way. Good-looking crowd, thousands strong. Both Kerry and Edwards were in fine form, and the crowd went wild.

Biggest applause lines:

1) How 'bout those Cardinals.

2) Saudi Royal Family reference.

3) Outsourcing jobs.

4) "No war because we want to, only because we have to".

I stuck around for the whistle-stop departure. It was cool seeing the candidates on the caboose. I was up front about 10 feet from the train as it pulled out of Union Station.

They are in vintage rail cars used by Harry Truman's last whistle-stop tour, and are hitting Washington, MO., Jefferson City and points west later today.

1. I hope the Fox buidling is protested at the RNC
They deserve to be harassed, and the other networks would cover it too, just out of spite.

P.S. It took an Oakland A's manager to get the Cardinals to be a winning team!

2. Glad you got to see the train
My father saw same train - decades ago. Would love to see it. Glad you were there.

4. Union Station
Can't wait to see pics of Kerry on Truman's train. Missourians worship Truman, at least my family does. This is going to be a great campaign event!

6. Were there any protestors, hecklers?
I ask because of the "loyalty oath" you have to sign to attend a Bush*Cheney rally.

9. Yes, brain-dead Shrub supporters were there
We were yelling "3 more months" to 10-12 of 'em. They were kept across 18th Street from Union Station. No barricades.

While waiting, a sign-carrying anti-choice guy was told to leave the premises. He protested that the event was open to the public. Security said that yes it was open to the public, but that Union Station was private property, and he would have to go across the street. He initially refused to move, until the rest of the brute squad showed-up.

It was the way it should be. Protesters in sight, but neither caged nor close enough to disrupt the speech.

I did not hear any hecklers during the rally.

8. Bravo! FOX "News" should fire "reporter" Cameron's ass...
... for his role in helping Sen. Richard Traitor Shelby disclose classified data to the press.
