bush is for tort reform
Let me tell you a little story.
sept 7 2003 My 63 year old mother sit down on her front porch to relax.
sometime later my nephew found her slumped in the chair.to make a long story short. My mother had a heart attack she lived in a small town 20 minutes away from a medium sized town. The ladies at the church next door administered Cpr until the ambulance got there over 40+ MINUTES LATER! as my mother laid there dying the Ambulance being a volunteer service with no forseeable excuse finally showed up and took her to the hospital 20 minutes away where she was pronounced dead
http://www.shivelyfamily.com/index2.html
now because of tort reform My family cannot force action on the ambulance service that took thier sweet ass time getting there.
Now maybe it wouldnt have mattered but What if it did.
Who's mother is next.
This my friends is TORT reform.

Republican doctors forcing the issue down their patients' throats is mostly to blame. People trust their doctors as authority/respectable figures. Meanwhile, these doctors place political signs and brochures in their offices touting the "benefits" of "tort reform."

When I see my doctor--if my blood pressure isn't high before I arrive at the office, it is by the time I get back to an exam room. :grr:

Again, I am very sorry about you losing your mother.

3. first, my sympathies to you for your loss...
second...

My Dad went in for surgery in April. He had a lumbar laminectomy, which is a fancy schmancy name for fusing two vertebrae together. This proceedure is done with the patient face down, obviously. Long story short, the surgical team weren't keeping track of his pressure and the length of time in a prone position... fluid built up in his head and cut off the oxygen to his optical nerves. He is 100% irreversibly blind. The last thing he saw was my Mom and me as he was wheeled into the OR.

Now this fuckhead Bush has the balls to say that my Dad damages should be capped at $250,000. Sorry Shrubya, but he made 75K a year and was 56 years old. Not counting the total fuck up by the hospital staff, just his income alone would put him at $675,000.

Compassionate conservatism my ass.
