Remember agreement with Pakistan to capture terrorist and announce July 29
???

How come nobody is talking about this?? Even the guy on NPR asked a Pakistani why they waited almost a week before announcing his name on July 29 - the agreed upon date with the administration?? Why did the Pakistani interviewed say that the date was delayed due to agreement with Washington BUT NOBODY HERE is talking about this?? Where are the tinfoil hat people when something REALLY happens as predicted?? Did you hear Wolf on CNN saying that they found a computer and disc's with that guy in Pakistan and drawing a link between those disc's and the current "threat" against financial institutions in Washington DC and other places?? I thought we were smart here people - this is more than tinfoil hat stuff!!

Wake up people - we're being duped again and just idly sitting by!!

2. You'd have to search archive at this point. Many posts about an agreement
between Washington and the Pakistanis to trot out a high-profile terrorist during the Democratic Convention on July 29. This guy was captured the previous Saturday (? or about) but was not announced until middle of Convention (29th I think). Anyway, this confirms what the interviewed Pakistanis were saying - that there WAS an agreement with Washington to capture and release a terrorist suspect during the Convention (preferably OSB). The guy on NPR pretty much admitted that it was Washington's wish to wait on the announcement of the guys name - not the Pakistan's wishes. It's blatant manipulation as Pakistan would prefer a Republican administration and is therefor playing ball with Bush on this one.

had announced the capture of Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani.

http://www.tnr.com/doc.mhtml?i=20040719&s=aaj071904

Especially read the incredible "Editors Note" follow up on the story - I will paste it here...

Post date 07.29.04 | Issue date 07.19.04

"Editor's Note: This afternoon, Pakistan's interior minister, Faisal Saleh Hayyat, announced that Pakistani forces had captured Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian Al Qaeda operative wanted in connection with the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. The timing of this announcement should be of particular interest to readers of The New Republic. Earlier this month, John B. Judis, Spencer Ackerman, and Massoud Ansari broke the story of how the Bush administration was pressuring Pakistani officials to apprehend high-value targets (HVTs) in time for the November elections--and in particular, to coincide with the Democratic National Convention. Although the capture took place in central Pakistan "a few days back," the announcement came just hours before John Kerry will give his acceptance speech in Boston."

At least some people are paying attention!! This is more proof that the "Administration" will do ANYTHING to be reelected!!

6. Daryn Kagan mentioned it yesterday when chatting with an "expert"
On CNN, no less- She asked the expert about it. The response was that, yes, there was an article like that but it was "impossible" to verify and we'd never know. Then she proceeded with her own much more trustworthy report...which was based on unverifiable information in the form of statements made by Bush admin officials.

8. Probably because it didn't do what it was supposed to.
It didn't distract from the convention, nor did it make the Democrats look weak on terror.
