I see dead Christians
On the FAUX News Channel. Before anybody tries to get my thread locked, my title was a take off of the, "I see dead people," line in the Sixth Sense movie. It's a joke.
Anyway. Is this a new faze in the "war on terra"? As anybody who has been following the fundie movement knows. The conservative Christians in this country are trying to bring on the end days by destablizing the whole middle east. They believe that Jesus can't come back until a war breaks out between the Arabs and Israel, which according to them Israel will lose.
Has Al-Quaida been reading Pat Robertson's web site or is this the work of the mysterious and maybe nonexistant Zawacari. (sorry about the spelling)
Will the good Christians in America move away from the bad Christians with the ever going target on their backs. As more comes out about Christian Re-structionism, Dominionism, replacing the constitution with Biblical law, putting gays and women who have have abortions to death, etc, etc.. Is it unavoidable that a war on Christian Conservatism is coming? In this country and everywhere else on Earth?
I saw something interesting yesterday at the Kerry rally in Zanesville OH. I saw pro-life Christians, who were holding their dead fetus and kill the fag signs, being jeered by large numbers of people. This in a Republican stronghold and a very Christian town. I was surprised to see that here. Has the Christian costume finally fell off these frauds because if it has it's curtains for them. What do you think?

1. Please, don't call them Christians
These people have been ignoring the words of Jesus of Nazareth for a long time and have adopted Hate and Bigotry as their Gods. It wouldn't surprise me if most of the people jeering at them were actual Christians. In other words, people who follow His teachings.

But what do we call them? They are the ones that keep calling them selves Christians or Evangelicals. We need a name for them that describes what they really represent. GREED, GUNS and GOD. Ted Nugent is a good example of what they really are. Or Ralph Reed who has been in more than a few scandals including Enron, Diebold etc.
Should we call them Enron Christians, corporate Christians, the Crusanders, fundies fake Christians????? This is a problem. They need a new name. One that will stick.

18. too sophisticated for them. Plus, said out loud it sounds the same.
My GF suggests "fascists" - I agree, but it's too inflammatory.

"Twistians" has a nice connotation to it, but difficult to differentiate

"Christortions" is just too complicated

"Jesus Freeps" is funny - I like it - but most Freeps don't know they are one - hehe

"Angry Christians" says is very succinctly I think

"HypoChristians" describes them as well as anything!

I'm open to suggestions!

24. Xians is actually the same as Christians
X or Chi in Greek is sometimes used as a one letter substitute for Christ. It actually dates back to the early days of the religion, when it was an underground movement. Oddly enough, so does the "Jesus fish" - it was used as a way for Christians to identify other Christians.

I call the fundi-christians Pharisees. It seems fitting.

27. False Prophets sounds good.
False Profits is even better. I saw an old fundie preacher on TV the other day saying that the word profit means working for God. And he didn't mean Prophet either. Something has to be done about the word conservative too. These people are anything but conservative. All they do is lie, steal and spend. What's conservative about that?

32. Yep... JC's words in Matthew 24 are looking very familiar these days
Matthew 24
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

they worship and emulate all the traits they claim to detest and detest all the traits they are commanded to hold.

God is love. Period. Love makes no room for divisiveness and exclusion. It judges no one because only one may judge-- no one else, as all far short before the grace of God, even the fundamental cases. Their pride is what's going to bring them crashing down to earth. Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before the fall... I'd say the fall in imminent.

They are followers of a vengeful, neurotic, thin-skinned, bloodthirsty Old Testament God. They like that sh*t, you know, all that smiting of enemies and being all powerful and the abomination of homosexuality and the rest of that opium-induced story-telling in the Bible written by a bunch of whacked-out men on a power trip.

These so-called "Christians" have as much in common with Christ as a two-bit whore has in common with the Virgin Mary.

28. "Christians are the last frontier. These people are not Christians."
I can't believe you'd write these two sentences right next to each other and not notice anything weird. You need to be more precise in your language and deal with actual issues rather than groups of people or else you're fomenting prejudice, and I'd believe that's actually a big part of the problem - these people feel more comfortable on the right-wing because they don't have to associate people that would talk like that about them. People like you create right-wing Christians.

Fortunately, not all of them fall for it: 39% of evangelical Christians are Democrats.

37. Christians are the last frontier because that's what they call themselves.
Kicking the frontier right dead in the face will bust the door in two. Separating the good from the bad. Most real christians have no idea what they've really been doing because the fake, evil Christians have been so stealth. They need to be exposed. They're frauds using religion to gain political and monetary power. If Jesus Christ was alive today he would send the entire fake christian movement straight into the ninth circut of Hell. He said "the love of money was the root of all evil". Bushco Christians love nothing but money. In fact they WORSHIP it. Jesus Christ hates their guts and it's about time somebody started saying it. I was glad to see at my Kerry rally last night people openly and gleefully DISPISING them. This is very good news. It means the average person is waking up to this total SCAM.
The pro-white-life movement is another truth. It's WHITE LIFE if you haven't noticed. It's time to separate the flock and put a BIG target on the Wall Street, pro-multinational corporation loving, starve the poor, kill the sick, bomb dropping, oil stealing, racist Christian Conservative movement. These are people only Ann coulter could love..

LOVES dropping 2000 pound bombs on innocent women and children. While they stand, like they did last night at my Kerry rally, with big posters of dead fetuses and signs that said DIE FAGS". I think that gives me the right to say, "I see dead Christians" because as far as I'm concerned they should be dead. But their not and not likely to be before the election. That's why I'm working on language that will separate them from the mainstream word Christian. Which they're NOT.
these FAKE christians are George Bush's biggest supporters. Which makes them a top priority to deal with in the up coming election. In other words they're fair game.

Shit, why not? They flew some planes into buildings and cut some peoples' heads off. You don't know when one of them will strap themselves with explosives and blow a bunch of people up - they don't even care if they don't live to see it. Then there was that pilot like four years ago that just up and crashed the plane full of people.

Father, I lift up to you our brother, President Bush, say amen!! I ask that You strengthen Him, that You protect Him and that You keep Your Hand upon Him. I ask that You give Him wisdom, that You give Him courage to do what is right, CODIFY Ten Commandments into law, RETURN prayer to public school, OUTLAW homo "marriage", OUTLAW all abortion for ANY reason and OUTLAW stem cell "research" that only serves to kill Your little ones. I ask that You draw Him deeper into You, that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon Him, say amen! That You give Him a deeping hunger and thirst for Your Word. I ask that You illuminate His spiritual eyes by the power of Your Holy Spirit. I ask that You give Him grace. I ask that He would be a man worthy of the calling You have placed on His life as the One who will bring us to Your glory. I ask that You bless His marriage, that You make Him a servant as a husband and a father. . I ask that You fill Him with Your Holy Spirit, that You work in Him and through Him and by Him to accomplish Your will in the events of the Middle East You foretold, say amen! I ask that You pour out Your love in His heart, that you keep His eyes on +Jesus+. I ask if it be Your will, that You will allow Him to remain the President of this country for another 4 years. Keep Him from physical danger. Stifle the unpatriotic left who are bent on stopping Your plan. I ask that You use Him as a tool in Your Hand for this country and this world, I ask that You empower Him to speak Your name whenever he has the opportunity. Continue to use the US as a weapon in Your Hand for the protection of Israel. Grant Him the power to carry out His mission to liberate the world and bring us to You. I ask that You continue to make Him a man of prayer. I ask most of all, that You make Him a man who knows and loves You more and more each day. Thank You that You raised Him up for such a time as this. We are RAPTURE ready, come Lord Jesus! We are RAPTURE ready, come Lord Jesus! We are RAPTURE ready, come Lord Jesus! Say amen, say amen!!!!

<snip>
BAGHDAD/MOSUL (Reuters) - Car bombs have exploded outside at least five Christian churches in Iraq, killing more than a dozen people and wounding many more in an apparently coordinated attack timed to coincide with evening prayers.

"We are expecting a huge number of casualties," an Interior Ministry source told Reuters on Sunday, saying there had been four blasts at churches in Baghdad and two in the northern city of Mosul. Police in Mosul said they knew of just one church attack there.

The Vatican condemned the blasts -- the first attacks on churches during the 15-month insurgency -- echoing concerns among Iraqis that they aimed to inflame religious tensions.

In the deadliest attack, a suicide car bomber drove into the car park at a Chaldean church in southern Baghdad before detonating his vehicle, killing at least 12 people as worshippers left the building, witnesses said.
