Chances of a blitz??
I am now seeing where the Kerry camp is going to western states that had formerly thought to be Repubican strongholds and not in play. He is already campaigning in the south (VA, NC and SC, in addition to FL). Which leads to one of 2 conclusions:

1) There is a legitimate chance of a blitz for us the likes of which haven't been seen since the 1980s when it happened against us. or

2) The campaign is unfocused and adrift.

Which do you think it is?

1. they know exactly what they are doing and they are doing it
well. We have a great team. The votes are on the internet. And they know where they have gotten donations and the people who are signed up to get their emails...

Most of us rarely watch tv or the news any more because it is garbage. They have found their niche....

2. I think they know what they are doing
I think it's a mistake to obsess about the south and other Republican strongholds, but it's also a mistake to ignore them. It shows that the campaign is confident.

3. The numbers show
increasing support in those areas. They know what they are doing.

4. The battleground states
are flipping, Mo, Ohio... I am not sure * can even take Kansas by November, particularly if Boeing shuts down.

If Kerry can pull two of these, no power short of guns can select * twice.
