The US House is debating a bill for other states not have to recognize Massachusetts' same sex marriage - and to say that US courts can't rule on that ban. My question is this: What about states that have a very young age limit on marriage. What if a state allows 13 year olds to get married. Are those marriages recognized in states where the limit is, say, 16? Isn't this the very same issue? Replace age with gender and isn't the basic issue the same?
