I tuned in late after watching the 7pm "Daily Show" re-run (I am addicted to it). My question to those watching "Hardball:"
During the introduction of Eagleberger, was it pointed out that he is a sitting board member of Halliburton? That is germane information for the audience to assess Eagleberger's credibility (which is zippo, in my eyes).
He and Henry were business partners with Malosevich. Put the two names and Kissinger Associates in Google. Verify my spelling of Malosevich. There is a very interesting article in there some place written be a Yugoslavian.
3. The answer is a question - why are the NBCs so right wing. GE = equals
corporate compliance and facilitation for the right wing. Expert guests are right wing - token lefties appear every once in awhile - if they behave. Then they have phoney lefties like Matthews himself.
But Eagleberger is egregiously connected to the (perhaps) biggest war profiteer in recent history, Dick Cheney's Halliburton. No one has answered my question, though. Was he or was he not introduced with an honest rendition of his CV?
