1. Well if the freeper response is any indication
it won't do much but maybe get a few people off the fence. Every righty has said the same crap. Exploitative lies... Please. I love how everything anyone has ever said bad about Bush is a lie. Because you know Moore only did this for the money. There was no other subject he could have done to make this much money. Wonder what the Disney shareholders think of Eisner now... hehe

2. YES.
That movie is POWERFUL. Like Moore says, "now the choir has something to sing about".

The Flint, MI and the Iraqi mothers are heartbreaking. Two mothers, two different worlds, both in the exact same pain. People are talking about this, and the business ties to the Saudis are damning. "Bandar Bush" is catchy, and I've been singing all night.

Indictments in Plame would be icing on the cake. Standing ovations for Michael Moore in East Tennessee. I've seen everything now.

God Bless America.

4. I don't think it will change many votes, but
it might help turn out more voters to vote against Bush who might have otherwise stayed home.

5. Wonder if Barbra Bush is letting her "beautiful mind" be troubled by
all the people going to see MM's film and finally grasping that her idiot son is a world class asshole.

Ordinarily, a politician's family is off limits, but in this case, Eva Braun with her pearl necklace has put herself in the line of fire. As has Poppy with his attacks on Michael Moore without even seeing the film. Oh, sorry, even if he'd seen it, he probably wouldn't have gotten it. The guy just lacked the "vision thing."

6. Perhaps the movie itself won't change lives...
..but it will embolden more to speak out against the madness. Maybe the subsequent national discussion will help some realize that voting for Bush is madness.

7. Controlling the terms of debate
The impact is not in votes directly changed. The real impact is in setting the terms of the debate and the issues. If everyone is debating whether the 7 minute pause, or the golf swing are fairly presented, they are debating on our terrain.

And, it doesn't hurt to make the choir angry and give them all the same lines to sing.
