I thought it was both anti-Democrat and anti-Republican. It was about telling the truth. Saw a freeper at the show I was at. Don't know if you guys read yahoo, but Century theater management is harrassing movie supporters and ordering them to leave right away if they hear them saying good things about the movie. They didn't want to let an elderly lady supporter use the theater bathroom on her way out of the theater and supporters were threatened with arrest if they didn't exit immediately. Really stupid and bad for business - unless the word doesn't get around. There are enough theaters showing it that most people can skip Century and see it in a theater that treats Democrats with respect.

3. People were badly harrassed in California
Apparently Century has a lot of Republican managers. The worst was reportedly in Orange.

2. Interesting you mention Century theater
I live less then 5 min from the Liberal paradise SF and the 20-screen Century Theater only has one screen for F911. I could understand that if it were Texas but SF Bay area? Of course all shows for the day are sold out.

4. The Metreon (in SF) Is Running As Many As Three Screens of F911
Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 08:48 PM by AndyTiedye
They keep on adding more shows. Got a 12:30AM show now.
They still have tickets available for that one.
Too late for me, I have to pick up gf at the airport tomorrow.

7. I tried to get my family to go to the Metreon
They are not in the mood for downtown today.
I love the Metreon at nighttime!

8. 12:30 AM show sold out - 1:30 AM show added
I've never heard of a movie theater running shows that late.

5. It was certainly anti-Dashile
and that's fine by me. Nice guy, but for the most part he's worthless as a politician.

6. 4 out of 5 of my local theatres showing it are Century. But not mine
fortunately.

I bought me and 2 of my friends advance tix yesterday, and I got there 15 mins. early today and it was packed (small art-house theatre but still). And when we stepped out of the theatre, we were greeted by a long queue and the table of our local Democratic Club members. They were busy in the crowd handing out flyers, voter registrations -- and military enlistment forms for any naysaying RWers, butI didn't see or hear anything oppositional from anyone.

Everyone I saw looked pretty excited at getting to see it. In a Navy town, I wasn't expecting the turnout I saw today. I'm so glad to find out I have neighbors that are more open-minded than I thought. It's very red-white-and-blue here, being REAGAN COUNTRY and all.

It blew my mind today. My cousin just called, and he'll be working too late to see it tonight. I didn't give him any spoilers and we'll catch the first matinee tomorrow.

I'm going out to buy advance tickets for tomorrow right now! I'm not taking any chances!
