Army ad before Fahrenheit 9/11 showing
Yes, that's right. Somewhere between the M&Ms and the Coke ads, the theater I saw the movie in today had an ad for the US Army.

Anybody else get to see this delicious piece of irony?

4. Were you attending a Regal Theater?
Regal Theaters, which owns UA and Edwards has this "20 minutes before the movie" commerical that plays highlights of new TV shows, COKE commericials, etc.

I wonder if they have an ARMY ad inside that marketing piece?

5. All the theatres here in Saint Louis...
...seem to run that Army ad "Army of One" before the movies. Shouldn't be surprising that they've ramped up their recruitment efforts.

11. That is the STUPIDEST slogan ...

"An Army of One". Doesn't that kinda defeat the point of group discipline, etc...

Or is it a deeper Zen meaning. That is, the whole is a some of it's parts. So YOU are the army and the Army is you.

8. Not at my showing.

Thank God.

Edited to add: only about three commercials, and only two trailers. That seems low for a movie. The whole commercial/trailer thing only took five minutes total.
