Kerry just keeps getting better
Every time I see him, I am more excited about his campaign. He always has common sense and intelligent answers, and he just seems to be getting stronger every time I see him in a debate. I can tell he is at a measured pace for the moment, and when it really counts he will be at the finish line first. As another campaign person said, I will concede the summer caucuses, the ones I am interested in take place next year.

1. Strong and steady, that's what Kerry's projecting right now.
America's more than ready for his serious and sober approach to problem solving.

5. He doesn't have to be "in your face" to get his point accross.
This will go a long way down the stretch as some of the others will become tiresome and annoying to the viewing public.

13. more like "afraid to oppose the Iraq war"
milque toast.....its time to get a spine and get your finger out of the wind Senator. Investigate the OSP(iran contra gang) and you got my vote.

16. Kerry was in "opposition" to chimpy's unilateral approach in Iraq.
As for OSP investigation, which one of the other candidates are devoting time to that?

21. first of all, he voted for giving * a blank check
and now he refuses to renounce his vote or the war.

Second of all, no other candidate has already investigated the iran-contra gang, and is in the Senate......Kerry has. The OSP is made up of the same old crooks from iran-contra.....time to show some guts Senator.

24. Then it would be a winning move for Kerry to bring up Iran-Contra
in the middle of his 2004 campaign?

27. does he give a damn ?
if i know about the OSP he had better, yes he should be hammering away at the OSP and their "extra-judicial" activities......why wouldnt he ?

If he picks up a news paper he might see the same names from Iran Contra ......geez. If he did this i would be alot closer to voting for him.

30. Well a least he would get your vote, but in his pursuit of the issue
he would lose tens of thousands of voters. It's better to get him in office and eliminate the possiblity of another Iran/Contra situation.

25. UM...very wierd-
I hit the link and get nothing but a black page with a scrolling photo at top-right. Nothing else shows up. I can move the cursor around and find hotlinks but no text, no nothing. I tried hitting hotlinks and the same thing happened.

I have NO idea what's up here!

6. I saw him in person a few years ago
and I was extremely impressed by his intelligence - wit - engery - depth and humor.

The fact that his humor is mis-understood is amazing. The man is not shallow and Gore is one of his close friends - WTF?

8. He impressed me at the Sheet Metal Workers forum
Such presence and such measured responses. I'm a Deanie, but were he to fail to get the nod, I'd be happy supporting Kerry.

12. He would be lucky to have it
You are the kind of Dean supporter, polite and reasonable, that Kerry would be lucky to have on his side.

I feel the same way, in the improbable event Dean does win, he will be my man in the election vs Bush.

15. Every time I see him, I'm more convinced of his puke bucket status
A Puke Bucket candidate for me is one who, if nominated, I will put a clothespin on my nose and bring a puke bucket with me to the polls in order to vote for them, and that's as far as my support will go.

and is in the oval office, I think you will be very pleasantly surprised by his administration. You will be glad you voted for him.

I have been a supporter from the beginning. I'm afraid Dean's becoming a hard act to beat. Kerry better get out the ol' guitar or something.

Wish kerry would sprout a little more passion ... I don't need it to be a believer but I think he needs to be able to "spark" more than the intelligensia support.

32. Oh I agree ... It just seems to be working rather magnificently...
enought that Kerry needs to stand up and take notice and adjust his tactics. I will be surprised if he can marshall an effective counter to Dean's momentum. Dean's drawing in a big tent ...

31. No surprise - he had only one way to go.
I respect his "environmental" record.

Voting for clean water - clean air ... those are easy votes.

Environmental problems are really problems created by the greater economic structure.
On these points he need to get "better and better"

33. I like Kerry and will support him
But he needs to answer questions directly and stop going on for minutes about " well when Clinton was in office". He needs to state what he is going to do in office and stop depending on stories and gimmicks from debates to get his point across. He will be far more engaging if he becomes direct and to the point. I believe this because I have seen him answer some questions this way.
