...."I think about how many people we are going to kill and torture today"

That's really what he should say if he was honest...

11. A sickening spectacle.
Rumsfeld at his evil worst. He lectured the reporters on why it is so bad that the torture is getting so much media attention:
1. Of course, giving publicity to the torture helps the terrorists.
2. Media attention to the torture endangers American hostages.
3. It was just a few soldiers so forget all about it.

FKKK YOU RUMSFELD ! You have disgraced this Nation with your criminal conduct, your greed and your lies! We will hold you accountable for your crimes.

12. How long until they give it up?
I'm so tired of hearing how it's bad bad baaaad to delve too deeply into the torture scandal. They obviously think that a majority of Americans are as morally bankrupt as they are. Stupid cons.

It's like the inverse of Monicagate. They were certain that the country would turn against President Clinton - but surprise surprise! People actually care about policy more than personal issues!

But here they go again, making the same mistake only in reverse. They expect to be able to do the same as they thought Clinton did... just ride the outrage and hope for a sympathy bounce. But I don't think that's what happened with Clinton. I think people genuinely did not care what he did with his personal parts.

They thought Monica was a scandal worthy of 24/7 coverage - expected us all to agree. But apparently they think torturing INNOCENT Iraqis ... SANCTIONED torture, approved at the highest levels... will just go away or be ignored because we'll all get tired of hearing about it so we'll start to side with Bush...

stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid
