Daily Kos has a new candidate on the Kos 8

So I have to make a blatant plug here for my boss, Jeff Seemann.

The dKos 8 are federal candidates for which the Daily Kos community will help raise money and visibility. Some of these will be in battleground districts, others will be seek to boost marginal candidates, and others will seek to "spread the playing field" and force Republicans to defend seemingly safe seats.

But all of these candidates are proud Democrats, willing to take the battle to the Republicans who have made a mess of our country.

The goal is to gather 1,000 contributions for each of the six targeted House races, and 1,500 contributions for the two targeted Senate races. The amount is not important. What's important is that we all take a role in taking back the party from the Republicans.

The sixth endorsement goes to Jeff Seemann, a familiar name around these parts.

As a campaign worker and friend of Jeff Seemann, I am proud to have this endorsement. In the first 2 hours of the endorsement, the campaign has raised 1,500 dollars (39 donors).

I am proud to say I was one of Jeff's first donors. I would encourage everyone to donate something to him. This could be a great year for Democrats, but it won't "just happen". People have to do something, like contribute.

I was one of AWDs first contributors as well, and he was my first ever political contribution. I wish he'd come back here, especially after he goes to DC!

I DO have one small bone to pick with Kos, however:

We have a candidate that will be working that district ceaselessly until election day. And it's a campaign that was essentially born on this site. Beyond Seemann's initial funding, this site has produced four of Seemann's staffers and his web designers. And many of you have communicated directly with him, offering advice and encouragement.

Sorry, it was born on DU.

Good luck Jeff. Everyone please contribute so Jeff, who I consider still a fellow DUer, can vote for all the long overdue investigations into the BFEE.
