CNN Finally picking up Cheney coordinating Halliburton deal story
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/05/31/cheney.tm/

Earlier today CNN reported Cheney's denial, but now they are reporting the paper trail.

In addition, MSNBC has picked up the story, as has USA Today, the Miami Herald, and the Houston Chronical. God - why do these stories always break on holidays and weekends?!?!

4. This was posted on CNN yesterday...
... and they ran with Cheney's denial this morning. This will go no further, not just with CNN, but any major media outlet. Why?!? Email is vague + denial plausible + no evidence to refute the denial = no more news.

:bounce:

No bid contracts are only supposed to be given in the event of an emergency.

What was the emergency months before the Iraq War started which necesitated that the food and communications should be handled by Halliburton?
