Memorial Day Events
House Democrats Celebrate Memorial Day.
If you are in Washington, we invite you to join Democratic Leader Pelosi, Congressman Ike Skelton (Ranking Democrat on the Armed Services Committee), Congressman Lane Evans (Ranking Democrat on the Veterans Committee), and all Democratic Members of Congress for an open house. The open house will offer an opportunity for Veterans to visit with Members of Congress, relax in air conditioned facilities, enjoy refreshments, receive any needed assistance from staff and be honored for serving our nation during World War II. The dedication service on the Mall will also be available for viewing by television.
