Aid agencies warn of Caribbean flood crisis
International aid officials say that tens of thousands of people in Haiti and the Dominican Republic are facing a continuing humanitarian emergency.

Flooding in the region has left about 2,000 people dead or missing, while many survivors have lost everything.

Thousands of people in Haiti have become entirely dependent on aid.

They lost everything in the floods. Not just their families, but their farm animals, food stores and land.

Aid agencies say the amount of people needing their help is far beyond their original expectation.
