I finally understand. Tornadoes in Oklahoma are MY fault!
It just dawned on me...as yet another round of tornadoes makes its way through this buckle of the bible belt tonight. Every spring and summer, in which nearly every week twisters come through and wreck homes, businesses and what seem to be an unusually high percentage of churches. How can this happen? Oklahoma overwhemlingly supports Chimpy, Jesus, cockfighting, gay marriage amendments, and the Bobsey twins Inhofe and Nickles. They reject alcohol (or "other" people), gambling (unless done on a trip to Vegas or Tunica, MS) and sex out of wedlock ("hey, she's married just like I am!")

So all this death and destruction must be visited on my state because of my presence! What other explanation could there be?

But apparently whoever directs the paths of these whirlwinds must have bad aim or lost my address. And should I feel guilty?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

1. NO! It is all Clinton's fault!

At least taht is what they would say. Oklahoma, btw, is a big state for playing Texas Hold 'em poker - I guess the people you spoke of would call the poker players degenerates though. Fuck 'em - they just are not smart enough to play poker!

2. No, it's my fault.
This middle-aged liberal, pro choice, pro gay marriage, anti-war feminist who has never been to Oklahoma fooled God into thinking I lived in Oklahoma.

Damn, I'm good.

3. Perhaps we could
share the blame. We just had an outbreak tonight up in Kansas too and we are not done yet.

6. Damn you Pagan witch!
Do you know how many good Christian children died for you and your evil heathenistic homosexual femi-nazi communistic cohorts! Jesus loves you, but not so much he won't smite random people across the countryside for your heretical beliefs! GO BACK TO IRAQ SATAN!!!

9. I got 1 year left here and I'm gone.
Don't know where yet but anywhere will be better than here. I'm sick of seeing people sitting on the side of the road holding religious signs saying " God hates homosexuals " and " You need to repent to see god "....

And by the way, Oklahoma has some nice country side in the south east. Just go in the spring or fall.

10. I used to live in Moore (live in Norman now...).
'Lived right off of 35, just barely south of where both of those big assed tornados came through. Got awakened in the middle of the night more than once, shoved into a bathtub with a mattress over it. Once had a tornado lift the roof off of a carwash across the street and then wrap it around a tree in our backyard...made the news. I sometimes find it funny that for years I lived right on easily one of, if not the, most dangerous tornado spots there is...on Earth.

Indians were smart enough not to live there, what does that tell you?

11. I have this theory...
that the National Severe Weather Storms Lab is located in Norman because, it's very close to all the action, yet seemingly never gets demolished by tornadic activity.

14. Nah...
They follow 240...head straight through Moore. Tornados like to follow highways and rivers and whatnot, if you hadn't noticed. I remember the May 3rd tornado, looked like it was heading straight for Norman...veered of and went straight through Moore. *whew*
