2. Take over media, especially it's cheapest and widest form...radio.
3. Use the government and media to Walmartize all goods and services.
4. Elevate the Fundamentalist Christians into high profile media, political positions and school boards.
5. Label dissenters as Atheistic Anti-Americans, even treasonous.
6. Remind the God-fearing Americans that dissenters are the source of the decay of the moral authority and fiber of America.
7. The people will have no choice but to buy goods at Walmart, listen to Rush and vote for the God-defenders.

It seems to have worked. But hopefully their plan is going to explode in November.

However, not to go to Mexico (altho I can see that as the best place for Californians and other SW Americans to go). Canada is the place I'm looking at.

7. Privatization. Bribe Politicians to sell Public assets Cheap!

The auto companies and tire manufactures bought up all the public transportation and street cars so they could shut it down and sell cars instead. They thought ahead - they ripped up the tracks and sold the land so we could never afford to rebuild it.

Privatization is about gaining strategic control over land, roads, water, agriculture, and natural resources. It's sold as a "market solution" and the PR departments are damned good at what they do. They hate democracy and if we can't stop them in the next 20 years we're going to be in a world of hurt.
