Boo-Hoo for george b*sh I

George Bush, who plans to celebrate his 80th birthday June 12 with a parachute jump in Houston, Texas, complained about recent books critical of his son and his family.

"It's pretty hurtful. I mean, when you see all of these books. It's all anti-Bush. It's all anti-my family. It just burns you up," he said.

He also denounced accounts that his son was obsessed with invading Iraq since taking office in January 2001.

"That's a bunch of bull," the elder Bush said.

1. Course it was, Poppy!
Your idiot son campaigned on it. He's been obsessed since you and Babs lied to him about how far that silly assassination plot got before the principals were busted for shooting off their mouths.

4. the Bush family is no different from a Mafia family
they are involved in murder, drug dealing, money laundering, and have "legitimate" businesses too. They are a crime family, and the public record of their crimes is long and specific. So, why do the Corporate Media cover up what the Bush family has done? Are the Bushes major stockholders?

6. It's good that Bush the elder
can know understand how the Clinton's felt. A little humilty never hurt anyone and it's time that the Bushies learned that. They have got to be the most arrogant family ever.

15. I saw that inteview too. Surprised Babs kept quite!
I don't think she said 10 words, and they were just shaking her head and agreeing with Poppy.

Obviously they couldn't have said much different in a public interview, but I really wonder what happens when they get together? Are they ever honestly critical of the kid? Good or bad, parents privately will usually give their kids a kick in the a** when they've seen something they've done that was really dumb.

I try to think in a very non-partisan fashion, what would I say if W was my kid? Especially Babs....she's anything but quiet!

16. That interview was fascinating
...because it was so bizarre. Like the cloistered sociopath that he is, he spoke as if no one else's thoughts were worthy of consideration, but at the same time, there was still a core of recognizable emotion to his behavior. People are attacking his boy, and by God, he's going to defend that boy. The boy can't defend himself; he was always so weak, and caused his father so much worry. It was almost human.
