British DUer's or others with knowledge: Help me find someone
Edited on Sat May-22-04 09:48 PM by Rowdyboy
30 years ago I had a British pen pal whom I adored. She was from Cumberland (I still remember her grandparents address). We last exchanged letters in 1974. Since she's probably married, I don't know her last name, but-her younger brother had a fairly unusual name. I was hoping to be able to reach her through him.

Are there any national telephone directories for Great Britain, or any sites that might have alphabetical listings?

Any suggestions might help. Its not terribly important, but I'd love to locate her if I could. Thanks for anything you may suggest....

5. Boy, do I have the web site for you
In Britain, it's all about the school relationships... check this site out - it's the most popular.

http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk

You can locate the schools she went to, or possibly went to, and if you register you can even post questions and see if anyone knows her.
