Really dumb RW talking point
Calling Kerry's decision to postpone the nomination as a flip flop. Some pundit on CNN just suggested this.

1. I dont think the general public really understands....

13. The general public recognizes that Kerry is making a smart move
That's about it. Faced with the financial facts, just about anyone with common sense would choose the same pathway -- wait to accept the nomination, and level the financial playing field with the BushCo Gang.

Now who could possibly object to a level playing field?

(Hint: maybe a really crappy bicycle rider with a faceful of pretzels)

3. And * doesn't flip flop
"we can't allow a 9/11 Commission to find out the 'truth'"

...but then "I agree, we need a commission, one that won't give out the 'truth' as cannon fodder or the Dimickrats...oh, and to uphold 'Murica's freedom"

4. Kerry should hammer * on all the SECRECY in his administration...
Edited on Sat May-22-04 01:54 PM by Tellurian
every time they do a flip/flop thing

his comeback should be why all the secrecy?

Are you trying to hide criminal activity?

Why didn't you take an oath at the 911 hearings?

Why the need to classify evidence that is pertinent to an investigation?

What are you trying to hide?

8. I like your picture, but it could use some extras
(Which might tax your photoshop abilities or time).

Have a wire from the left hand go off-pic, and have the torch plugged into a light socket.

11. thanx...but I like the subtlety just the way it is...
It expresses the disrespect for the liberty we all enjoyed, but for the hand of G.W. Bush.

5. what a groaner
and straight from the Bush campaign.

http://www.maconareaonline.com/news.asp?id=6869

"Only John Kerry could be for a nominating convention, but be against the nomination," said Bush re-election campaign manager Ken Mehlman. "This is just the latest example of John Kerry's belief that the rules are for other people, not for him."

6. Oh, wah, wah, wah.
:cry::cry::cry:

The only way the Thugs have a prayer against Kerry is to bury
him in ads, and the only way they can do that is if Kerry
is hobbled by a lack of money.

Kerry just took that away from them, and they're in shock,
I think.

7. What is a flip flop?
It used to mean that one supported a position and later, for expediency, changed that position. It doesn't anymore.

Now, for those with the inquisitive intellects of field mice, flip flop means changing according to changing conditions. It used to be called being open-minded or growing due to increased knowledge. Now, becoming more informed and intelligent is flip-flopping.

* is not a flip-flopper. * is known for his ability to misunderstand his own words. Didn't one of his aides coin the term "I misspoke"

9. Not a flip flop.
Senator Kerry is paying attention to the rules and will live by the rules exactly. Why should he give Bush any advantage whatsoever.

12. I hope when Shrub changes his mind on debates we remember
He'll do everything he can to diminish the impact of the debates. He'll demand all sorts of nonsense. Finally, he'll give in on most of the big items under public pressure. Kerry needs to call each one a major flip-flop and hammer on it.
