Here is the ultimate Iraq plan for Kerry!
The Iraq situation just can't be fixed and every day longer that we have our troops there is adding at least a 100 new insurgents against us. This latest shit with Chalabi (designed, in my mind, to divert attention away from the Berg beheading and its questions and the prisoner abuse scandal) is just plain ridiculous. We are now against him because he let it be known that he expected to that the Iraqi US-puppets were really going to have some real power. Thus, Kerry won't be able to fix the problems facing us in Iraq nor should he try. Since the Bush cabal caused this shit and are responsible for invading Iraq (9/11 had nothing to do with it) they should try to do what they can while they are in office to fix as much of Iraq as they can. AS SOON AS BUSH IS OUT OF OFFICE, the new President should recall all the troops in Iraq and get the hell out of there...Halliburton and all! It was Bush's problem, it doesn't have to be anyone elses. Whatever happens can be laid right at the feet of the Bush neocons. Whatever happens in Iraq let the Iraqis deal with, spending their own oil revenues and rebuilding as they have done in the past. They built their infrastructure for centuries without out help. They are smart people believe it or not. A proud people with a rich heritage. Let them hold elections and let the new President deal with the new government from scratch, pay reparations for the damage we did and get the hell out!

1. I totally agree with you but

you and I both know that the politicians, their corporate sponsors and the selfish voters excusing this can't bear the thought of letting go of all that lovely oil.

It's OURs damnit! We killed millions and spent billions to get it! It's OURS they say because our economy would "collapse" without it.

The apologists on our end make me sicker than the Republican rapiers.

Don't put too much money on Kerry; people can vote for him if they want but they should at least recognize that we'll be voting for someone who was 'allegedly' "FOOLED" by the biggest idiot ever to squat in the White House and keeps repeatedly getting "fooled". Even if we swallow that lie, what kind of a recommendation is that?

Kerry's as pro-war, pro-occupation and pro-land-theft-in-Palestine as Bush.

WASHINGTON, May 13 /U.S. Newswire/ -- John Kerry today released the following statement on the administration's request for $25 billion in emergency funding to support the troops:

"I will support the Administration's request for emergency funds for our troops. The situation in Iraq has deteriorated far beyond what the Administration anticipated. This money is urgently needed, and it is completely focused on the needs of our troops. We must give our troops the equipment and support to carry out their missions in Iraq and Afghanistan."
