No Protest for YOU...The Peace Nazis of NYC at it again.

I need some ideas. How do we coelesce these disparate protest groups around a similar location/message/time?

I want the GOP convention to be brought low by the image of law-and-order NY police trying to contain a bunch of grannies, kids, and reglr folks trying to spread the message that the war and Bush's failed policies have hurt all of us.

1. i sure as hell don't understand why they wont' give a permit and have

SOME control of what is going to be a HUGE crowd. Do they really think that a lack of a permit will stop hundreds of thousands of people descending on Manhattan with or without "permission"

If they gave a permit for Central Park, at LEAST the protesters would have a central gathering place. It's going to be chaos without it.

3. This is exactly what Chicago did to Abbie Hoffman and Co

before the Chicago Democratic Convention .

They refused to give a permit and Abbie predicted
that kids would get hurt because of it ...

He was right ....This stinks to high heaven .
