A gruesome question ?
When they found the body of Nick Berg on that Baghdad bridge, was his head with the body? I had not read much about that discovery. Does anyone know?

I have a long-time distrust of the CIA since my days in Vietnam. I question if what really happened is different from what we have been shown and what we have been told. I question when the body was found? I question if the body was intact when found? I question if the body was found at all? Who found the body? Was it some local Iraqis? Or was it a GI that just happened to be driving by in his Humvee?

I apologize for being so cynical but I know what these people were capable of doing at one time in my life. And I cannot force myself to believe that they have changed for the better. I question whether Nick Berg's body was used for some political purpose after he was dead? I know they had Nick Berg's funeral today but I question if they really did?

1. Not sure
The State Department confirmed that Mr. Berg's body was found Saturday near an overpass in Baghdad. An American intelligence official said the body was found without a head.

Not clear if that means the head wasn't found or just noting the body was headless.

3. If he was found sans head
from the POV of Jewish law that is horrible... yes Judaism has the
same proscription against defiling bodies as Islam

That said... folks what Kentuck said it is correct... those folks are
capable of anything... yep I trust them as far as I can throw them...

5. Yes
In Saudi beheadings, the head is sutured back onto the body before burial.

2. I wondered the same thing and didn't have the balls to ask. Let's see
what turns up (on the thread, I mean)...

4. Headless Body Found
It's an obvious question whether the head was found near the body. If that had been the case, it would have been reported.

It's not really tasteful to inquire about the missing head. I believe it is still missing, and possibly a macabre souvenir for the Al Qaeda thugs.

6. I read that the head was found later...in the area of the body.

7. I wonder if ...
... they performed a DNA check? Just to be sure, of course.
