Now then, my questions is this...How do you read this little snippet(scroll almost all the way down)

I read that to mean something specific, and before I say it out loud I just wanted to know what some of you thought to see if you read it that way too.....

that killing captives and mutilating remains are linked in Islamic ideas as war crimes. The Koran is actually quite specific in limiting violence to enemy combatants and "Allah does not love transgressors." So the point was to stress that (in their view anyway) the action was contrary to Islam.

And yet there has been no shortage of Muslims willing to blow themselves up. Rape is contrary to Christian belief, but there have been plenty of rapes in Abu Ghraib. And the Chechens seem to be pretty fond of beheading Russians.

There's a big difference between belief and practice.

This whole thing is starting to stink even more....

Now the Berg family has produced an e-mail from the US Consular office in Mosul CONFIRMING that Nick Berg was in US custody....
