What happened to all the Bush/Cheney bumper stickers I used to see
Edited on Thu May-13-04 01:21 AM by dArKeR
on cars over the last few months? For the last 10 days, I swear I haven't seen one. They must have ripped them off their cars. I really did a lot of driving this last week and I didn't see one. And it is something I do notice. I still see 'Support the Troops' but not the 'Bush/Cheney' stickers next to them.

And I didn't feel it's unusual that I haven't seen many 'Kerry' because he's not actually even the nominee yet. He's also just raised his funds so they haven't had time to make them yet. But the 'Bush/Cheney' have their money and actually have been the nominees for 3 years so they've had plenty of time to make their stickers. Owners are ripping them off.

I'm in the San Jose, CA, southern Bay Area.

Still the blocks are full of US Flags and Support the troops signs but I swear I haven't seen a Bush/Cheney in the last weeks.

We had a Marine come home 3 doors down across the street. They put up all kinds of signs and streamers. 'Welcome Home Marine.' I don't know those people and I never saw the Marine kicking around the front yard. I wanted to talk to him. And I wouldn't put on my DU face, I'm not an iss whole. I justed wanted to thank him.

1. Here in Puke country
in East TN (Knoxville area) I have seen ONE Chimpy bumpersticker.

Here's the kicker I saw THREE Kerry stickers last week (not including the one I have on my car)!

Sure it's a small thing in the big picture... but THREE Kerry stickers here seems huge!

4. Everyday, I drive through Republicanland here in...
...Northeast Illinois ( DuPage County ), and I've noticed the lack of these stickers for some time now. The fact of the matter is that the radical right-wing is losing the grip it used to have here.

6. I saw my first one yesterday, on a trip to Waco.
It was at a truckstop and also sported a Baylor University decal, so no surprise.

7. My downstairs neighboor
removed his signed chimp photo.

What was even beter is I was talking to him, wondering if he removed it or somebody else did it.

He did, and in the midst of the conversation a Puke, the kind "I have other priorities," started arguing with us.

Well the pug said, you Libs... standard line. Now remember my downstairs neighboor gave lots to chimpster and is now is sorry... yep card carrying member of the GOP, and also is a Navy Vet, he looked him in the eye and asked him, "so sonny when and where did you exactly serve in uniform?"

Well, I... what do you mean old man?

I did my time in the navy, her husband just retired and she has seen action too in uniform, so as I was saying, when are you signing up?

ummm, ahhamm, well I have other priorities

I started going left, left, left right left.

He goes what the hell is that?

Oh when the draft comes, you will find out... and I will even help you pack on the way to Bootcamp... and if I had my way, YOU would have an all paid vacation to Fallujah... this way you can go support YOUR WAR...

He left in a huff.... after all we libs (one former chimpster supporter, mind you) had worn uniforms and gone into harms way. You thunk he was shocked, after all he has other priorities.

oh and this is freeperville too...

11. Ha Ha Ha, NadinBZ!!!
I used to see (here in Georgia, US) every SSUV loaded down with American flags on both sides of the vehicle! I'd say, "Hey is that the Embassador of Trailervania?"

9. And where have the lawn signs gone?
There used to be maybe 25 in our neighborhood - not one left standing. It is really a nice looking place now.

14. I have a neighbor with a HUGE support the troops sign in his yard
Next to it, since 9/11 he has had a "Support President Bush" sign. I noticed on Saturday that the "Support President Bush" sign was gone, although the "Support the Troops" sign was still up. This guy is a Vietnam vet. He has his POW/MIA Flag and USMC Flag flying along with a huge American flag. I had meant to mention that sign coming down when I saw it, and forgot to. Glad you posted this.

15. I saw an SUV with a Bush sticker on it--someone hit it
The truck had a big dent in the bumper right where the Bush sticker was.

Liberal road rage?
