Gasoline is $1.90 for regular
here, and we're still three weeks away from peak driving season, and more bad news is going to come from Iraq. Worse news than what has been exposed already, what happens when the world decides to hold us accountable.
If the oil producing countries closed the tap, or switched to euros exclusively how long before the American people are stung into action.
How long would the most virulent freeper support king george* when they can't get fuel.
This question has to be on the puppetmaster's mind, I don't believe georgie* could grasp the situation. We've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.
Things may get very interesting in the coming weeks.

1. Hey at least it's cheaper than a gallon of milk
I wonder if the cereal business is feeling the effects.

2. They gotta push the price up, so they can lower it...
...but not by much, in time for the elections. After all, a deal's a deal.

3. You're lucky
I filled up this morning at a "cheap" station for $2.19 for regular. The cost of living in California.

6. that's cheap - over $2 in Mpls. / St. Paul
I'm glad my summer job is at an office 5 blocks from my house and that there's also a grocery store and a Target within walking distance (and a merchant of fine spirits on the bus route) - looks like I'm only going to be able to fire up the Rowdy Wagon for emergencies this summer.

7. San Diego County...
Cheapest this week was Wednesday, at the Costco at I-5 and Palomar Dr ($1.99)
Most expensive was the Unocal 76 at Clairmont and Ruffner (in the heart of one of the less affluent business districts and by S.D. Superior Courthouse) at $2.99 a gallon.

Both these prices are regular unleaded.

The average looks to run around $2.21 or so county wide. And you're right, this is right before Memorial Day, which seems to traditionally runs the year's highest gas prices starting that weekend through the 4th of July.

For some reason, the city itself has gas prices between 10 - 30 cents higher on average than the outlaying areas.

I tend to get my gas at the military bases (one of the perks of being retired) - and even they just raised their prices to $2.09 (Yesterday) from $2.01 (Monday).

13. Holy crap - Look at the variability among Costco stations
That's the only place I ever buy gasoline lately - the Gateway Costco which isn't on the chart.

8. good site here for comparing gas prices...
www.gasbuddy.com

Also will lead you to dozens of local gas price sites. For fun, go to the graph section and compare your local gas prices with Toronto.

Don't you just love how our prices hardly fluctuate at all? :)

9. Please keep your arms inside the ride at all times.
It's going to be a bumpy ride down the slope of depletion. Grab your walking shoes and strap yourself in.
