past the point of no return
I think with the growing prisoner abuse scandal, PLUS the images of the Marines packing up andleaving Fallujah without achieving much of anything besides death and destruction...THIS will th moment when future historians will say that ,"th US lost the war, it's former standing in the world, everything..."

We blew it. Just like Peter Fonda said at the end of "Easy Rider", we blew it big time.

Yes, it's the BFee who got us in this sit, but because our good names have been stained in blood and acts that i can't even imagine, the US era of being a world power with respect and allies is over. The extremely bad karma we're due for after all this....unspeakable.

I do think that Kerry will win and start to repair some of the damage, but this is going to take decades! Instead of protecting democracy and freedom, the BFEE-in OUR good names--have doen the exact opposite.

I wish the whole * gang and their plas would just line up and go staright to Hell. Right now. Don't bother asking for mercy, just kiss their asses goodbye and toss 'em all into Hell;s biggest firepit. Slowly.

3. New Low
I have obviously spent a lot of time hoping and wishing for Kerry's election. This latest scandal has had 2 effects on me:

1) I honestly no longer harbor doubts that Kerry will be elected. As braindead as this country can be, there is a political line that was crossed in these latest disgusting revelations.

2) I now wonder how long it will take to repair this damage. I think Kerry has numerous flaws, but I believe he is a great leader and candidate nonetheless. I truly feel bad for the man, as he is going to be handed a NIGHTMARE next year that he could not have anticipated, and should not be made responsible for, regardless of his ill-conceived vote to support the initial war.

Anyways, just my 2 cents. My thoughts are will all those innocents whose bodys, minds, and souls have been made the victims of the madness of Dubya.

6. Bush has demolished ALL credibility that our country had.
This is a sea change in the way the world views America, and it will take decades to repair. I never could have imagined that after we were savagely attacked on 9/11, a president could single handedly destroy all good will towards America.

7. i can handle not being the arrogant
world power. we didnt earn it, we dont deserve it. so we hang our head in shame as a nation. that is ok by me. it is good for us as a whole.

i can do this. find the higher even in this

we blew it big time

hey, my husband had a boss and ran the business to hollow. he bought the business nad last couple years has been hard and not doing what he thought it would. i told him, takes more of a man to say didnt work and not feel the failure adn go on to what needs to be done, then the man that puts money in and money in until there is no way to get out of it cause he cannot handle failure cause of ego.

we fucked up.

9. Too many asleep at the switch
Us, I mean. We never dreamed Bush would STEAL the election, fergawdsakes. We (well, at least I) never realized the depth and breadth of media whoredom until it was apparent they were putting all of their energy into propping up an evil administration from Day 1 (and before -- spinning hard to tear down Gore and build up the Peabrain).

Time to take back the media, take back the local legislatures, take back the Congress, take back the presidency, take back the voting booth ... bit by bit.

14. "What? Me Worry?"
Old Puttie Put announced in front of Our Jesus Inspired President that he was considering changing the denomination of Russian oil from dollars to euros. Bush had no response at all. He acted like he didn't even understand the economic gravity of that statement.

15. I've been wondering if we've lived through our golden age
and whether or not it's all going to be downhill from here on. We've got some pretty bad karma to account for, and given the attitudes of some of our people I'm not uncertain that we don't deserve it.
