8. He's sounding good so far.
He's got some of the fire back. This administration has a record they want to "run away from."

Tweety pressing him on the medal-throwing issue. Kerry says that they used the terms "medals" and "ribbons" interchangably.

He's doing very well. Interrupts Tweety and finishes his thought. He is proud of shedding blood for his country.

HELL YEAH!

31. OMG... that ad was PERFECT.
After Kerry outlines his stellar miltary record and brings up the history of deferrments for Cheney as well as Bush's awol status in the Air Natl Guard, they then turn to this ad. Honestly, coming on directly after Kerry's statements, the ad was HILARIOUS. Kerry soft on terror? Ha ha ha ha, he's got three purple hearts!

Then Kerry comes back and slams the administration even more about their lies and recklessness.

22. Talking About Jobs
Edited on Tue Apr-27-04 06:26 PM by goclark

Asked about Bush making mistakes,
Kerry: Bush made "colossal mistakes, without a plan to win the peace."
Did he make a mistake on WMD: It bothers me that they have not made an effort to get to why the intelligence was bad.

STRONG!!!

Vice President won't testify without the President by his side.
Tweety: They aren't the Menendez Brothers!

K: He said to ask Bush why he won't testify alone

T: Was he mistaken about the "Mission Accomplished"
K: I believe it was a miscalculation!
Tweety asked should Bush have fired some people
K: Yes, he should have fired some people
We know they exaggerated, gave misinformation.

Remember, everyone, that this guy is one MOTHER of a closer.

I am hopeful that we are beginning to see today what all of us have hoped for. With his volley against * today (re: National Guard records) and this Hardball performance, perhaps Round 2 is beginning, and the challenger is showing one hell of a right cross.

it's about damn time!

Look at the way these sociopathic, self-righteous, smug, arrogant, disaffiliated, rat-bastard sons-of-bitches wallow in whatever filth they want, whatever innuendo and smear without EVER having to bear account for their words or their deeds.

Fucking A, I say. The smarmy popinjays NEED their ass handed to them. Their lies and deceits and hypocrisies need to be exposed.

I truly hope that John Kerry confronts Bush face-to-face in the debates about the crap his surrogates spew on a daily basis.

Tweety was talking about how low the Republicans would stoop to discredit Kerry. Kerry said they had to because they didn't have a record to run on, they had a record to run away from. Tweety mentioned some Republican who said Kerry looked French. That was when Kerry made the comment about Karen Hughes being born in Paris. It was funny as hell.

WOW..Whenever I get to hear the chance to hear him talk unfiltered from the Bush Backers in cable news I always get impressed.
People REALLY think Bush is the better choice..Really????
Kerry Kicks ass..He if he can get past the whores and directly to the people then Bush has no chance. Thats what Kerry's biggest problem IMHO..That the Bush friendly press is going all out to keep people from hearing him talk

51. Kerry was GREAT!
But don't think for a moment the Bush team doesn't have their profilers and psyc consultants observing Kerry's actions and reactions. I'm sure they are devising methods to trip him up to make him look foolish...you know, press his buttons, so to speak, to discredit his viability as presidential timber.

Kerry needs a Carville out front running interference for him...and a few others for back up. It would be a mistake to leave Kerry up all alone to fight this mob of man eating carnivores. He needs to find a few shameless spokespeople to absorb some of the flack who are capable of flacking them right back.

One thing he said stuck with me - the GOP has spend tens of millions of dollars going after him, smearing him - and it's only APRIL. The repugs are scared shitless, otherwise they wouldn't be foaming at the mouth already, desperately grabbing at straws. Whatever strategy Kerry's playing, I love it.
