Should be pretty funny to see us beg them to take us in.

1. you know why this movie isn't helpful
b/c anti-environmentalists will point out this movie and say, "Look at how the tree-huggers lie about global warming. There is no proof that global warming will harm our Earth, or even that it exists. Lets cut down some more forrests." They are going to use pure entertainment as a tool (probably ineffective however) to try to promote their "science".

2. John Q. Public will believe the movie. They always do.
Remember the "China Syndrome". It and Three Mile Island stopped any more nuclear power plants being built in the US.
