CNN Poll - top of the heap reminder
Top of the list reminder to vote the CNN poll.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/04/13/bush.conference/index.html

The trouble with this poll is that people can cheat and vote multiple times. Or am I wrong.... I hope?

1. Don't think so
I do believe this site will record IP #'s and won't allow the same ones to vote over and over.

3. That's not fool proof, but it can help.
All outgoing connections from my company are on one IP address, so CNN would think we're all one person. You can redail with PPP or PPPoE to get different IPs at home.

It does help them detect some cheaters though.

4. Very significant number there.
21% said they didn't watch. Too busy holding down two minimum wage jobs, knew it would be boring or a rehash of previous speeches, or so much for the President that what he says and does doesn't make any difference? What?

5. It is possible to cheat
CNN is setting a cookie so they know you voted. If you revote the results window doesn't come up. I tried to revote in Mozilla. Then I tried to revote using IE and it took it. So if you change browsers, computers, or clear your cookies (I bet you've done that before) you can revote.
