I think that if I was Gore...I'd be running again.
He was SCREWED by the BFEE and the result is two WARS and a crazed dismantling of 60 years of Progress! He won but lost. The DLC needs dismantling and Lieberman needs a spanking.

He has every reason to take out Bush.

That said I would have never made a statement that I wouldn't seek the 2004 nomination last fall...So I wouldn't catch hell for changing me mind.

I would have accused Jeb and Harris of stealing the election. Just to try to bring about some Justice.

I probably wouldn't have conceeded either. Why give the reins of the country over to criminals?

Once the Voter Purge story came out I would have jumped all over it. A coup was committed.

Wait, I get it now, I would have caught a bullet...

1. If I were Gore, I would have never bowed out..

I would constantly be heckling the Chimpministration over every mis-step and screw-up. Lord knows, there's a lot of them.

Also, I would be saying " A Social Security lockbox doesn't sound so goofy now, does it?"...

2. Right! Gore has a strong sense and love of his family and he
probably didn't want to make that trade off!

4. Very, very, few people are willing to be destroyed....
...for doing the Right Thing.

Nothing wrong with that but it's a fact.

5. I for one am glad he bowed out
the baggage accompanying the "re-match" was too much for me, and I actually like him! I was deathly afraid he would lose legitimately this time around, and frankly, Al was not guiltless in his 2000 demise. My big gripe is he didn't wage the re-count battle 100%.

6. Gore for Secretary of State
Al Gore can do a whole lot of good repairing the damage as the next Secretary of State.
