FYI possible technical problems with Truthout
This evening while viewing Truthout my lap top downloaded a virus W32.welchia B worm. I am back to using my old Mac until I am able to solve this problem. This is only an FYI, I am not technically astute enough to determine for certain that it came through Truthout.:argh:

4. Do you remember where you were on Truthout?
Do you remember where you were on TO when this happened?

I have complete confidence in my computer defenses and detection abitlities, and haven't seen anything like that on Truthout today.

5. It could be a script that attacks your HOSTS file
They are sneaky little bastards. Undetectable by the best antivirus programs.

Learn more about the HOSTS file here:

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

And download their HOSTS file that blocks hijackers and ad servers. Works well, but you may have to tweak it a little if you use any of the listed sites.
