MOYOCK, N.C. — A representative of a North Carolina security firm says four American contractors killed and mutilated in Fallujah last month were lured into an ambush by members of the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps.

The Iraqi men had promised the Blackwater-led convoy safe passage through the city, but instead, they suddenly blocked off the road, preventing any escape from waiting gunmen, Patrick Toohey, Blackwater’s vice president for government relations told The New York Times in Friday’s editions.

What happened to the rest of the convoy? Thin air? Safe passage? Threw it in reverse right quick?

The article gives NO information about how exactly they arrived at that conclusion. Did they have radio contact, did some escape to tell the tale, what?

3. They really need to stop calling these guys civilians.

It's very misleading. They mercenaries. All of Black water's people are mercenaries. The lowest for of human life, people who kill for money.
