I'm starting to believe that "the War on Terror" is a racial war
As I've posted in a number of threads, I've been reading the Autobiography of Malcolm X. I just finished it - wow!

That being said - Brother Malcolm felt that the White Man's criminal actions toward the Black Man in America was going to literally destroy the soul of America. He also felt that it would be the physical destruction of the country. Shabazz also spoke about the White Man's criminal behavior toward Non-White peoples world wide. As I was reading his touching chapter on his Hajj to Mecca the events in Iraq today painted a disturbing background to the beautiful experience he had in the Arab world.

Were Malcolm alive today I feel that he would easily see that the White Man (Personified by this Administration) has openly declared war on all Non-White peoples. In the same way that Malcolm felt that Islam was the best hope for non-whites in this world the White Man sees it as their condemnation. A false religion - grounds for a crusade.

Just today I was trolling around Freeperville and did a search for Islam. The results were horrible. It was full of Nuclear Fusion bombings and genocide. A few DUers said that this was just the lunatic fringe of the right. I'm not so sure.

I am afraid that the White Man (in Malcolm's later terminology - i.e - the evil nature that lurks in a large number of white people, often subconsciously) has in 9/11 been given what he sees as his God given mandate to wage the ultimate racial crusade. Anyone who has paid even the minimal attention to Bush's words, or Boiken's or Coulter's or any number of these folks won't find that a stretch. And don't tell me these are fringe people because they're front and center in our mass media.

The hidden evil of the White Man is out and seated at the battle station of an A 130 gunship and he's got mosques in his sights and enough depleted uranium rounds to take out any non-white on the planet many times over.

And any white who tries to stop him.

Note of clarification - I in no way infer or imply that our troops are racially motivated. I hope that that is clear.

1. Numbers
People of color represent 1/3 of all enlisted people, but only 1/8 of all officers.

2. No, its an oil war.
Its the quest for America's control of the global oil supply.

That should be obvious by now. The fact that the enemies of this so-called war are all Arab is not racist, but geographic in that oil is abundant in the mid-east.

4. Oil/Racist are not mutually exclusive
All you have to do is imagine the outcry had UK bombed residential neighborhoods in Ireland in retaliation for IRA bombings in England. There would have been images of dead Irish babies on every newscast and the front page of every newspaper in the US. In very stark contrast to the sanitized reporting on Iraq.

10. "Irish Terrorists"
Let's see -- after decades of strife between two factions divided over matters of land and religion, a peace is finally worked out via a political solution. Clinton was a part of that negotiated solution. The peace has held there for what, 5 years now? Um, I think we can cautiously call peace in Ireland a success, yes?

But the Neocons and flying monkeys tell us that nothing worthwhile has ever been achieved without resorting to force. According to their doctrine, Blair should have bombed Derry and Belfast back into the Stone Age, and maybe then invaded Scotland too, because there are Celtic people sympathetic to ideas of separating from Britain too, not to mention the fact that there is oil in the North Sea. Now, THAT's the way to do it, eh?

Remember when it was reported that Blair had contacted former President Clinton on a matter relating to Northern Ireland after the coronation of His Chimperial Highness? King Smirky made a public statement that he was standing by to advise Blair on the matter. (GULP) Maybe we'd have seen those fragmented Irish babies all over the tv screens had Blair had the bad judgement to call (then).

11. bad post
Ignorantly spouting off like you did in this post gives all liberals a bad name. Bomb Belfast back to the stone age? Please, that's Great Britain's largest ship building port. You neglect to mention that the violence has always been sectarian, not ethnic. This ethnic cleansing of the Celts which you envision would not even make good fiction. Peace in NI is not secure. Ian Paisley and his bowlered mob are still at large, Catholics are still an underclass. There is no success there yet. A quiet couple of years within 500 years of oppression does not mean resolution.
With all due respect, this was a bad post. I do not think you know enough about the Irish situation to be pontificating.

3. In a sense you are right, but it's even more. It is bigotry in general
I think in a large part it is the last gasp of white males losing their superiority, so it is directed against more than races. It is also directed at women and anyone they feel is not supposed to be valued above a white male. They have bought the propaganda they sold themselves for millenia and change is not coming easily.
Most white supremacists fear, more than anything, the end of white man's rule. It is ending and they are terrified. I don't get it. I think the ideal is for complete genetic mixing so races cease to matter. But then I am female so I have never existed in a position of power.

5. A reply to 2 & 3
I agree that the agenda of the Administration (the White Man) includes utter racial and gender domination and wealth/resource/military domination. Yet I'm referring to "the War on Terror" as defined by the Head White Man himself. I feel its a "Holy Race War".

6. You just now figured that out
Oh they hate it when you point that out. I'm over at a board that deals with cross cultural relationships and we have been having the biggest Bush / Iraq war debate for about 3 weeks now.

The board is uncensored and unmoderated and there is nothing to hold back their racial hate. I'm just waiting to give them enough rope to ask how does the Asian Wife feel about being a second class citizen in their eyes

Any one want to join in the debate. They are mostly pro Bush pro War and it is a great way to get out aggressions with the uncensored format
