Fallujah | Dead Babies | No Jokes | WARNING: Graphic Images
only al jazeera has camera crews in Fallujah. imagine this happening in Pittsburgh, Tampa, Austin, Portland..... the rage can only grow over there.

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/8CB7C17E-F69E-48...

At least twenty are confirmed dead following violent demonstrations in Pittsburgh this afternoon while throughout occupied America armed resistence against Sino-Islamic coalition forces continued to escalatealong with increasingly deadly reprisals. A coalition spokesman confirmed that one coalition trooper was abducted, hung and set on fire following an incident where a pregnant woman was killed during a routine search for insurgents in a Canton, OH neighborhood. The spokesman also stated that the coalition authority regrets the accidental shooting of Audrey Brown and her unborn child.

In other news, the patriotic pacification of republican loyalist cells in Billings, MT, Astoria NY and Concord, NH have proceeded significant coalition casualties.

Both East and West coast hot zones have been successfully cordoned. There have been no new reports of contaminated refugees breaching the boundaries.

The coalition spokesman stressed that a dangerous and aggressive regime with massive stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction has been removed and the world is safer from fundamentalist terror today.

Their relatives and neighbors will surely remember these deaths. The US is falling into the trap and sowing the seeds of a popular insurgency.

This is much more horrible than a stupid f-ing term. Jesus Christ, people, look at what's happening in the world! Children and babies are dying, and all you can do is bitch about some word?

I think it's sad that some would spend six hours complaining about the use of a word "bitch" and ignore the REAL issues out there.

It's pretty sad. :(

other than it was hit with a missle and the death toll (last report) was 40+ dead. they did not specify ages.

however, they have been bombing residential neighborhoods as well. AND the only operational hospital. meaning, there's nowhere to take the victims...

.
.

I found and posted two articles while the massacre was going on in the wee hours of the morning, and hardly got any attention, the "important" stuff was between f*g and bit*h.

Now I can understand WHY the USA is in this mess,

If, on a POLITICAL forum, when a major massacre is taking place, people are more concerned about offensive WORDS, we are a long ways from resolving the problems in Iraq.

These problems were initiated in America, by Americans.

Not Osama, Not Saddam, Not al-Sadr are the ones responsible for this. The ones dropping the bombs, and the ones paying for them must bear this responsibility.

Oh, this was revenge for FOUR foreigners.

Is the USA "even" yet??

Gawwwd, this is so disgusting

39. It's the "Waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! You hurt my feelers!!!!! Waaaaaaaa!!!"
words can't hurt you if you aren't already predisposed to take on their meanings to begin with. Just because one may call me a 'bitch' or a 'nigger' doesn't mean shit to me-- I know that I'm neither, and that's all my little world needs to know. There is nothing anyone can say to me to make me buy into what their insecurities, intolerance and ignorance is forcing them to say. They've got size 13 issues.

People who get all caught up in taking on the mantle of the name they're being called need therapy.

Just imagine if someone bombed a Catholic church. The outcry from the world would be deafening. But there is no outcry from the world for a mosque? Except from the Islamic world. GAH, I'm so sad and angry and disgusted that I can't even make any sense.

22. And you are absolutely wrong in your assessment....
...IMHO, every American needs to see this to understand what we've done to Iraq, particularly since we invaded Iraq based on a pack of lies.

You go on and keep worrying about who's going to say something bad about the military while the rest of us try to deal with something that should never have happened. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of Americans are dead, along with tens of thousands of Iraqis to include innocent women and children.

The genie is out of the bottle, and it can't be put back in. The people of the Middle East are seeing this, too, and they are going to be even more angry with the U. S.

I hope you sleep well at night...I know I don't.

27. Around this time last year --
I thought my heart had broken forever.

When I saw the seeping heads and broken bodies of Shock And Awe, and heard about 10 year olds burying the dead for $2 a body in makeshift cemeteries that stank with decay.

Well -- time and life's urgent banalities sort of made me "forget" these things. And as these images faded from my retinas -- my heart, it went back to normal, for a while, for a year -- but -- well -- alas -- it has broken again, these past few days.

I'll grieve for these kids today -- And wonder, with clenched fisted despair, why more Americans aren't doing the same.

61. I just sent the following letter
to all my Representatives:

There are photos of US forces carrying wounded and dead comrades all over the Internet tonight. If one looks, there are also photos of dead children from Fallujah. It is time to take these photos on to the floor of the Senate and House and DEMAND and end to the deliberate murder of civilians in Iraq. The citizens of this country did not sign on to this war to blow children to bits. Did the Senate and House vote for the IRW to slaughter children? That is what is happening there. Is slaughtering the children going to win the hearts and minds of even moderate Iraqis? How long before even pro-US Iraqis have seen enough of their children die? And how many more flames will we add to the fires of terrorism by slaughtering, burning, and dismembering a countrys children?

Sincerely,

Not that I expect it to do much good, but my conscience demand I do something now. I protested this war. The world protested this war. And now our news and our legislators ignore this slaughter of children, and ignore the horrors we are commanding our forces to commit.

47. What America needs to see every day to stop the war
.
.
.

Just a dream, but if every American that supports the war HAD to view 20 seconds of the pictures below before they could watch television, or use their computers, the war would end real quick.

These are some of the VERY GRAPHIC pictures from Fallujah, I do not apologize, I am not responsible, and NEVER supported this war in one weenie part of my body or spirit.

This space is left for those that do NOT want to look . .

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

THESE ARE ONLY A FEW of the casualties over there, and certainly not the worst.

We should be forced to see EVERY wounded, dismembered slaughtered person, but seeing these children convinces me that THERE HAS TO BE A DIFFERENT WAY.

Well over 100 Iraqis died in the last few days, many of them women and children - watching rumsfeld say today "that the numbers really aren't that high" made me sick with revulsion and shame to be impotent to stop this carnage.

Those 100+ Iraqis have friends and relatives that will vow to avenge the injured and dead. NOTHING good came out of this murderous attack on Fallujah.

America HAS to leave before things will improve.

But the world seems unwilling to take on the USA's killing machine.

(sigh)

This is just too much. The blowback from this whole fucking unjustified war is going to be just incredible. And * won't have to worry about it, because it'll probably be long after his pResidency is up that the worst retaliation will come.

And guess who'll be the ones to pay for it? The same generation of Americans who are over in Iraq right now fighting an immoral and reprehensible war for corporate interest. Just fucking unbelievable.

I'm normally not a religious person, but may God have mercy on our (the world's) souls. I'm afraid that this sort of atrocity will not be forgiven nor forgotten by the Iraqis, and the Middle Eastern + Muslim community at large.

55. War Criminals
Edited on Wed Apr-07-04 08:30 PM by kenzee13
Bush, his handlers, should be tried for War Crimes. I am so choked with rage I cannot even think. WHY WHY WHY are our spineless, useless media not publicizing these photos???? Why have they not publicized ANY of the massacres we are perpetrating over there? (I know, I know, I know: but I remember a more honest Press during at least the last few years of the Vietnam War. Do we have to kill hundreds of thousands again before the Press can no longer stomach its' own complicity?) THIS is what our armed forces are being ordered to commit? And how many of THESE soldiers will come home mental wrecks at what they have done? I refuse to believe that ordinary citizens of this country would condone this if they were not shielded from the reality.

56. it's awful
but hardly surprising.

When you drop bombs - they kill people.

They havn't yet developed one that kills only "guilty" people. The west has been highly sanitised to beleive the guff about "smart" bombs and "collateral damage" and most of us (in the west) have never HAD to deal with the destruction and death of war in front of our very eyes (except those in Europe old enough to remember WW2)

This is what is fueling anti-american and anti-western feelnig throughout the middle east, this is what pushes people into the arms of teh Wahhabist fanatics - they are the only ones fighting back - and I think, unfortunately for everyone, it's going to worse before it gets better

58. If they showed this on American media
the * administration would be done. Horrific. But America stays snug in her safe, isolated, sterile, narrow little world, nurturing her beautiful mind.

Where is there a mainstream news outlet that will show this?

I know LW.

maybe SOMEONE on AAR will 'describe' them... challenge the 'liberal media' to publish them, air them...

along with the images of the Americans. but, context!

too much of america has been duped to believe that ONLY coalition deaths matter (and, apparently, corporate deaths get a HUGE response!)

CNN: total US deaths: 637

65. We are a nation
with skewed priorities. We need to infuse our citizens with love, care, compassion, integrity, hope....

I need to remember this every day. This is why I became a teacher. To shower the children in my care with those things. And it is so easy to forget, when you are in the pressure cooker of politics, rules, regulations, and demands that have nothing to do with care. From my perspective, if the adults need an infusion, our children need intensive care. And we need to be free to give it to them.

67. Doesn't it surprise anyone
that in America with freedom of the press we never see any brutal images of war? We are spoon fed the sterilized news and we aren't even allowed to view dead soldiers returning home. Photos of dead children should be printed, not for exploitation but to bring the reality of war home to all these chicken hawks. Time to get real folks . . .

Accountability . . .

69. yet another myth
The US has a free press.

The US President is the leader of the free world.

Bull-fucking-shit. All myths pumped and pumped into the US culture until they're so believed they don't need to be true any more, how sad.

The rest of the world has to see these images, we don't get such sterile coverage (as you rightly described such coverage).

Another sad point is, even reasonable "non-war supporting" Americans will pay the price for this, as the entire country takes the role of Primo International Pariah.

Except, maybe, could "we" lead us all beyond this perpetual war. Where are the "Americans"? Fallujah wants to know, and so does most of the the rest of the Mid-East.

76. The price of oil & greed some things never change

History is full of this. Mind numbing atrocities and always in the name of something.

I think it's more than obvious that there is something fundamentally
wrong with a large enough portion of the human species for this shit to continue century after century.

I hope those who voted for bush are proud of what is being accomplished in Iraq for "freedom & democracy"

If you thought the twin towers was out of hand just imagine the enemies were making right now.

77. It's very disturbing
and atleast during Vietnam these brutal photos were published (I am specifically referring to the naked girl whose clothes had burned off). These sorts of images turned the tide of support for the war.

Now, we are fed footage strictly from the administration and from the "embeds", a bunch of fuckin trolls who are basically ministers for propaganda.

I don't consider myself a radical by any means, but I think these sorts of images should send shudders down any civilized person's spine. It did for me.

The country is on the path to hell. Perhaps we can say we have descended into it.

This war is not a justified. I feel terrible about the deaths of innocent civilians in any conflict, but in a war that has absolutely no justification other than for fear and profit, it makes it all the more terrible. The administration and its supporters have blood on its hands, as does the media.

It's amazing though that this nation (and sad to say this board as well) is so wrapped up on trivialities such as a breast being shown, and offensive words, that it can't see the true horrors unfolding -- horrors this nation is responsible for.

or under-reported.

now we have Japanese soldiers kidnapped and threatened with being burned alive if their troops don't leave.

84. My sincere problem with this analogy
Please don't go hay-wire on me....but I have few questions...

When the demonstrators in Pittsburgh finish their violent riot, will they go back to forcing their wives into silent obedience? Will they let their daughters go to school?

Will they loot and pillage their own museums of priceless historical artifacts?

When the Sino-Islamic coalition forces retreat back to their homeland because their countrymen cried foul over casualties of war, will the extreme religious fundamentalists gain political control? Would Jerry Falwell become our new supreme dictator because he's the only one with the radical, militant congregation able to fill the power vacuum?

You see, I may be naive, but I trust our troops and I truly believe they still consider themselves liberators. Yes it's inconceivably tragic that babies and pregnant women died. But it's also tragic that courageous, young Americans, my freaking brothers age, are dying.

Maybe going into Iraq was hasty, it most certainly wasn't well planned. Having no exit strategy is what resulted in this current mess. Not letting the U.N. control the power hand off was another mistake.

So, I beg you, please don't demonize the brave soldiers in Iraq.

And I think it inconceivable to compare the complicated cultures of the United States and Iraq to one another, as you did in the analogy. Our deep-rooted values and history are tremendously different.

87. Our history is different. Our "deep rooted values" are not.
Life, Liberty, the pursuit of happiness.......

Do unto others..........

These deep rooted values are no different.

That is the point of the message. Put yourself where they are. Your town or city has been invaded by an occupation force that has declared the US to be a rogue nation and they are rounding up your friends and relatives and dropping bombs on your city. A bomb just landed in your home and killed your wife and three kids. Where are you and what are you feeling right now.

You were glad to see the Americans overthrow Saddam. Your town had survived the initial conflict and eight weeks later the tanks roll into your quiet little town and occupy the school where your kids are supposed to have been going to every day. You and your extended family join in the protest asking them to leave and you are in the protest that is fired upon and witness many innocent people killed, (maybe even a relative or child or yourself).

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL THEN?

If you were not touched by this demonstration, how would you feel if a few weeks later, one of your brothers was a police office that was in the nightmare where 8 or 9 officers were killed and many others were wounded as you or a family member of the police force chases bandits and were subsequently fired upon by the US, in a mistake.

Wake UP!

Go look up and read up on what has been happening in Fallujah since 4/28/03. Then get back to me if you want.
