It worked on Grey Davis...Why not Kerry?
The Gas prices today are being deliberately hiked by the BFEE to smear Kerry as a gas taxer while prices are at there peek. In fact, the fucked up, ought to be imprisoned for life dis(the American People)administration is working very closely with the big G.O.P. = Greed Oppression Power oil refineries to slow up the production of gas. And they are also spending billions by pumping oceans of oil in to the national reserve to reduce supply. All for money, but mostly for the ultimate Kerry smear as a Gas taxer at a time of dangerously high gas prices.

People, this is common sense, Rove 101 stuff...

This was done in 2002 to kill Gray Davis in California with the BFEE's created power crisis that resulted in rolling blackouts and 1000% price hikes for a time. It worked on Grey ousting... Why not Kerry? People - expose this now!!!

May be this was not clear enough. They (GOP) Killed his political career in California. They are doing the same to Kerry.

6. That's a myth. There was a "failsafe" clause in the budget: If

there was a budget shortfall, vehicle registration fees would return to the established rates before the enacted VRF cuts...and those funds were earmarked for local services.

Vehicle Registration Fees are a much more equitable source of state funding than the billion dollar bond we have now, which is actually a "future" tax - our kids, and grandkids, will pay it off.

10. Plus, when prices slip down before ...
... the election, Bu$hCo can steal the credit for it!

They may say something like: "Summer driving is over. It's a 'supply & demand market' thing!"

11. Cheney advocated a gas tax himself.
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 01:11 AM by jpgray
All Kerry needs to do is an ad blitz pointing out this obvious hypocrisy. Since both are from each man are from the eighties, they ought to go well together. Cheney's however was an entire budget plan that included billions in oil taxes, Kerry just mentioned it, I believe.

Take a look.
