Freepers show their "real selves" over the recent events in Iraq
Edited on Sun Apr-04-04 11:56 PM by rumguy
Freepers just want to keep throwing fuel on the fire, democracy and freedom be damned! Let's be honest, they never really cared about all them fancy words, it was always about blood lust for most freepers.

ON EDIT: the following statements were pulled off the first page, I couldn't continue reading. I'm sure every page has similar sentiments.

"Scum. Not one of these slimy vermin are worth one drop of American blood. All of them combined are not worthy of one drop of American blood.

Bring back the shredders. Bring back the torture rooms.

Let's reinstall Saddam and let him do whatever he wants with the lot of them. These subhumans are worthy of no better.

Uday and Kusai don't seem like such bad guys after all.

Can't wait for the FatLady to sing at Fallujah - it will be SWEEEEET!

Saddam was right, he knew how to control these barbarians.

Then there's this guy, he seems to say that our democracy here is at fault, and he of course blames us! I assume he is wishing for some good 'ol fascism here in the USA.

"'Politics' has become a pox on our civilization.

Our own internal entanglements allow our enemies to be even more emboldened and confident they can be successful in defeating and destroying us.

The Obstructionist democRatic Party is no friend of this nation and seem more intent on just making nice nice, imo.

And then finally, there's this good Christian, he makes me all warm inside, and so proud to be an American.

"It is time to start killing these roaches. We will not win unless we show force. That is what they understand.
Coat our bullets with pigs blood and unleash hell.

That'll stop these rats

To be fair, there are some rational freepers, but you have to wade through a lot of irrational bile to find them.

2. Fascism is right under the surface in this cuntry

Problem is these idiots do nto realize that once the machine is on.... even they will suffer

9. The freepers will be the first to suffer.
Based on their posts, I'd say that most of them are poorly educated, working low-level service jobs with little security or benefits. Why they vote Republican in the first place is a mystery I may never understand.

I guess it's because "our great president is a Christian."

Gag me.

4. so much for...
So much for the incessant "We liberated those poor downtrodden Iraqi people!".. I should bookmark that page so every time some wingnut wants to spew their fake fucking sympathy, I can throw it right back in their under-educated, xenophobic faces.

5. I have only once ventured into that forum
I still feel dirty. There is a very scary (terrifying) lack of logical thinking. A reactionary element that we, as a a society, have a right to feel deeply concerned about.

WAKE UP, Free Republic!!! Think.

6. Yeah, I just dropped in there this evening and read the same crap.
One poster was talking about how we need to "finish up" in Iraq, then take care of Iran and Syria, wipe out Saudi Arabia next, and then maybe go on to Africa. He noted that "we have a lot of work to do."

Another one angrily asserted that the "left-wing" media pays attention only to "the 5% of Iraq that is having problems, and ignores the 95% of Iraq that is tranquil and much better off since we got rid of Saddam."

It's news to me that 95% of Iraq is "tranquil." I guess they'll be opening up guided tours next, right? Disney World. Cruises.

7. Comfortable Cowards with no children of their own over there
they are traitors to the Troops, and traitors to our children over there.
Chickenhawks, comfortable cowards.
The blood of the Troops is on THEIR hands, for supporting Bush.
They are not worth my spit.

10. LOL - I just came back from there - you just answered my question
.
.
.

I'm just a "lurker" every now and then over there and was coming back to DU to ask if they were really that bloodthirsty at Free Frepublic.

Saves me alot of copying and pasting then,

and I've no need to go back!

For more of the same check out this thread -

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1111286/posts

They aren't being too shy about their "bloodlust"!

And their total disregard for the Iraqis as a people sort of shocked me too.

And I only read about 40 posts, the thread has over 200 posts -

40 was enough.

11. There Goes The Last GOP Rationale For War: LIBERATION!
They aren't that different from Saddam when push comes to shove. So why do THEY think we went to war, if there were no WMD and the people there deserve to be bombed off the face of the earth?

14. Know what that shit reminds me of?
A THANKSGIVING PRAYER
by William S. Burroughs

Thanks for the wild turkey and
the passenger pigeons, destined
to be shit out through wholesome
American guts.

Thanks for a continent to despoil
and poison.

Thanks for Indians to provide a
modicum of challenge and
danger.

Thanks for vast herds of bison to
kill and skin leaving the
carcasses to rot.

Thanks for bounties on wolves
and coyotes.

Thanks for the American dream,
To vulgarize and to falsify until
the bare lies shine through.

Thanks for the KKK.
For nigger-killin' lawmen,
feelin' their notches.

For decent church-goin' women,
with their mean, pinched, bitter,
evil faces.

Thanks for "Kill a Queer for
Christ" stickers.

Thanks for laboratory AIDS.

Thanks for Prohibition and the
war against drugs.

Thanks for a country where
nobody's allowed to mind their
own business.

Thanks for a nation of finks.

Yes, thanks for all the
memories--all right, let's see
your arms!

You always were a headache and
you always were a bore.

Thanks for the last and greatest
betrayal of the last and greatest
of human dreams.

16. I always thought to my self that
after the invasion when the Iraqi's fought back the repubs would change from "liberating the Iraqi's from Saddam" to "destroying the Iraqi's" or something like that.

These people are so predictable.

17. talk about a flip flop
this time last week they were still flogging the "Iraq is better off without Saddam"-"we brought freedom and democracy to Iraq"-"Saddam had torture chambers, rape rooms, and mass graves" bullshit to justify the invasion.

Now they are calling for us to act just like Saddam.

What a total bunch of idiots. I hate to think I'm in the same gene pool with these degenerates.

18. Might I remind you...
...that these folks have been "set off" by the slaying of several private corporate mercenaries. Men who left the volunteer service to make 10, 20+ times what the average soldier there fighting and dying is making (but still on the taxpayer dime), not beholden to the rule of law or concerned with international law, on "missions" of a highly dubious nature...

As horrific as the scene at Fallujah was, these Freeper jackals are just as vile. I think they should volunteer to go over these and take care of the "problem" themselves. Strip them naked, hand them a loincloth and a blunt bowie knife, paint some blasphemy on their back, and then airdrop them from about 20 feet.

but if it exists how long before each and everyone of these freaks is either drafted or dies of a hideous ailment...

They REALLY really want to live under a facist dictatorship? why don't THEY go move to one, they all seem to have such a problem with democracy.
