Jeb Bush put Florida under Marshall Law?
Randi just mentioned that on her show. This is the first time I am hearing of this.

2. Yes she said it and I really hope she will
talk about the circumstances surrounding such an unusual move if it indeed happened. This is not the first I've heard this however I just don't know the background on it.

6. Damn they haven't pulled it?`
I'll bet that has been altered from what it originally said, but it appears to be similar and the dates are the same.

4. Yes! On the 7th of September 2001 (I think the 7th)
I witnessed the order with my own eyes on the Florida Government website back in the fall of 2001.

I am sure they have pulled it from the Florida Gov site since then but this is for real... it's not a crazy net conspiracy theory!

5. From what I remember....
It was a fairly routine updating of circumstances under which Martial Law might be invoked. Jeb added "terrorism" to the list--on September 7th.

Just another of those coincidences!

On Friday, September 7, Florida Governor "Jeb" Bush signed Executive Order No. 01-261 which states, in part:

"I hereby delegate to The Adjutant General of the State of Florida all necessary authority, within approved budgetary appropriations or grants, to order members of the Florida National Guard into active service, as defined by Section 250.27, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of training to support law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel in the event of civil disturbances or natural disasters and to provide training support to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations relating to counter drug operations. This Executive Order shall remain in full force and effect until the earlier of its revocation or June 30, 2003."
