... in Iraq? Maybe that is what we should ask the f@ckheads like Britt Hume who think we are being oversensitive about Bush's stupid, awkward attempt at humor.

9. This link
takes a minute to download, but it's worth it because it is
not a joke at all.

3. It would not be funny if 1 soldier had died, nor 1 million
It does not matter how many died for it, the fact is he took us to war based on a lie. That is never funny, IMO...

5. I agree but the thugs will have an easier time seeing the implications

of the war if they see the costs as being relatively high. They apparently don't think 600 US troops dead and thousands wounded represents much of a cost. Nor do they care that many thousands of Iraqi civilians have been killed and wounded. The thugs don't believe in human rights or justice as bases for moral reasoning- they only care about costs and benefits to themselves.

4. It is genetically impossible for a Bush to be funny
I mean, c'mon!

They missed out on lots of things: bravery, humor, nice looking ears, sincerity, etc. etc.

13. great piece!!
I'm just wondering, after reading, in the second to last paragraph:

***

"That's something that Richard Clarke demonstrated last week, when he began his testimony by apologizing to the 9/11 families for having failed them...He was also impressing upon everyone watching the fact that we will never, ever get such an apology from George W. Bush."

***

how likely it is that condi begins her "testimony" infront of the Commission with some sort of apology, or at least nod to the 9/11 families that has been absent thus far? I heard she has already publicly said that she's like to meet with them. What a novel concept for the administration. But they better be careful, officials might next be paying their respects to the families of the fallen soldiers....
